348CH #26 looks a bit better these days- just ran it at a Hooked on Driving track day at Moroso (sorry, PBIR) this past Saturday. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'd be happy to email photos, but it looks like your address didn't come through. Probably better to PM it anyway. I wouldn't say I have a "connection" - I just contacted them, sent the seat model number off of the shell, and 300 bucks later, a cover "kit" arrived in a box. No instruction sheet at all. This new guy (the third) I'm dealing with seems to be more attentive and caring about customer service, so we'll see what he comes up with. BTW - the cover I got was just plain black, not a "Challenge" seat cover. Sorry if I wasn't clear about that before. Any chance you could post a pic of that spring deal connecting the cable? And, did you put foam under the cover? Thanks again! gp
I installed the Challenge kit into your car; last of seven I built and the easiest as the cage mounts were already welded in... Looking good! Best, Rob Sent from my ADR6350 using Tapatalk 2
Yes, this is the only Grigio Met. Factory Challenge 348. I'll have to shoot some photos of the interior sometime, but since I keep the car in FL I don't see it regularly. Here's the only one I have handy. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Ira, the red Interior has a nice POP on the gray exterior ! Excellent looking combo, something you must be proud of !
Rob, Some of the fun in owning these cars are comments like yours. My car has its original Challenge Series livery too and I've had people come up to me at track events saying things like "I saw Peter Sachs race your car in 1995" and "I was a tech for your car when it raced." Miller Motorcars sponsors various events in my area, some at their dealership. They originally prepared the car. One day I'd like to take my car to one of their events. Barry
