No doubting the fact that one of the most controversial aspect of Ferrari's new hyper car is its name. Maybe we can do better right? What name do you think best captures the essence of the new car.

I'd call it the Squalo, which is Italian for shark as its nose has the contours of a great white... sharp and menacing.

    What say ye all?

The Countach is an absolute legend of a car. As a teenager in the Eighties the car of all cars for me was the crazy Lambo.

Yeah the F70 does have a nice ring to it and funnily enough I thought the Enzo would have been better named as the F60, though like the car, the name has grown on me.

It does have nice curves and a distinct, though attractive nose.

    Superfast

    Europa
    GT

I'd even be down for this generation's Testa Rossa!

    LaLuca :D

I'm not sure about what they should have done. Enzo and Dino are taken and I don't like the idea of an F1 driver's name getting used so I'm at a dead end.

Track names aren't bad but monza and fiorano have been used so that leaves Imola, Mugello, or Nurburgring (I kid :) )

They are running out of names

In fact the strategy from Luca is perhaps to put a soo ugly name that nobody will use it, then it will solve is official problem to use F150 (from Ford) when everybody will finally use F70 or F150 or "new enzo" or whatever name, but unofficially!

Try to pronounce "the Ferrari LaFerrari", no way, even in French or Italian there is no sens (La Ferrari LaFerrari!), then I hope that all potantial buyers discovering now the name will pass the message to the factory to remove the name from the car! no badge for the name, exclusively the prancing horse and the SF shields!

They could have given the car a unpronounceable symbol, like Prince (the musician) did in the past :D

Or something like 'The car formerly know as Enzo" :)

No, I'm sure we'll get used to "LaFerrari".

    LOL! Hot!

As this probably is gonna be the last big V12, and if there wasn´t already a F12, I´d call it Ferrari Dodici or maybe Dodici Cilindri, in the line of Testa Rossa, although that´s a bit cacophonic.
