Somebody mentioned it , so I am going to ask again. On the steering wheel it says fernando Alonso. Does this mean the show car will go to Fernando?

The top speed is as high as the Ferrari people wanted it to be. We know that in the Enzo "more than 350, actually meant 370". It the case of LaFerrari it is most probably gear limited to something similar...

Look forward to seeing but because of downforce and DRS I don't think it will be.

    Quell Horror the name.

More than likely the show car is a prototype that will eventually be crushed.

I respectfully disagree. A hypercar, by definition, has to be OTT. Ferrari has managed to create a shape that isn't as cartoonish as the Pagani and the Lamborghini nor as bland (relatively) as the Mc Laren. Porsche has done a good job integrating homage elements without looking too derivative.

    Stunning supercar in my opinion.
Specs ... Can't wait to get seat time in it. Thrilling!!!

    Only negatives:

Rims: I'm not a big fan to be honest.
The name: Will have to get used to it. Would have been worse if the name had an impact as the car does and the car has an impact as the name does ;)

Lot's of ink will flow on this car in the coming months ... years.

I say ... well done Ferrari. LaFerrari is certainly worthy to be at the top of the food chain in my opinion (both on looks and performance).

    Cheers,

    M

Agreed, I expect an LMP-like side and rear when I see that front view.

Let's force this naming-disaster to simply "LF" :D

If this "LaLa Ferrari" did not have a Ferrari badge, would those that find it to look great, still feel that way?

I guess redundancy is "in" in Maranello.
First the Ferrari Ferrari Four and now the Ferrari LaFerrari.

So saying that, and with many saying the LF resembles the P4/5, are you saying that the P4/5 is purely a namesake and only applauded because of the PF badge?

The LF blends well a classical beauty with an extremely efficient and much needed aero principle. There is a definite lean towards the modern and aerodynamic design. Look what Jim and his team had to do with the P4/5C for aero purposes. It was turned into a big mouth bass and lost most of its beauty.

The Ferrari design studio has done an excellent job in forming the human element in with the scientific

I see a lot of Pagani Huayra in the rear, which is probably a good thing considering the time it posted on the top gear track.
