How much time are you devoting to the undertray relative to body surface aero?

Lotus VVA platform as a basis?

Edit- Sorry ... I just read that you were sourcing a CF tub.

As lot. Our aim is to make the entire car an inverted wing.

Surface texturing, under tray, mirrors, wheels, tires, window inset... it's crazy how much consideration could be given to so many different components when it comes to gaining an aero advantage. There's much more to be gained from the "little things" than overall shape consideration than we realize. I guess there comes a point in which the cost devoted to finding the nuances outweighs the return. It is pretty cool trying to find affordable ways to cheat the air and get "free power".

ATR has a nice carbon tub package available for purchase. I have a brochure they provided me that has all the specs.... ;-)

Jim, having now seen LaFerrari I have to point out a thing or two.
One is that, to my eye, P4/5 was a motivating inspiration to them. Seems the enthusiasm is cyclical. I think as a Ferrari fan, we owe a little thanks to you for charting the last several years of hyper-Ferrari excitement.
I'm instantly infatuated with LaFerrari, but if I'm honest I must admit: I think P4/5 is a great deal more elegant.

    Agreed.
Sometimes you get a better design when you are serving an audience of one.

    Jim,

As a Dino owner, just the fact that "Dino" is mentioned in your statement makes me giddy. I'm looking forward to another incredible journey with you.

    Thanks again for sharing,

    Jim,
If you're really interested in all-out ground effects, how about taking a look at a retractable twin chassis setup? :) ;)
    Best,

When Jim starts selling customer cars, he's going to have to put a clause in the bill of sale:

"When indulging in my automotive passions, I will not declare to persons present that I must be excused to enjoy a vigorous outing in my Jim"

    :D

    All the best,
    Andrew.

Luca jumped the Shark calling this one "The Ferrari". It's one thing when others call a car "The Ferrari" and quite another when you call yourself "The Ferrari".

This name will be mentioned in the Universities in the same lectures where they
    talk about "New Coke".
