Superlite were a well established company, I have used their wheels in the past which are high quality and nicely finished, Most famously fitted to Mini's (the classic type) I had them on a race car that I built back in the 1989. Always balanced well, I think they look best with a polished outer rim.

Right, that's what I thought. Any idea why they don't return emails? I don't call England all that much. Even so, I think I am doing it correctly, yet I get s message that says, "call cannot be completed as dialed". Are you sure that they are still in business?

I have no idea as I have not used them for years, theres no exceuse for not returning emails in my book.

I have also tried calling for you and there is no answer from any of there 3 number including the fax number which a lovely old lady answered.

I have also sent an email and will get back to you if I get a response, I suggest that you try an agent like Demon Tweeks who specialise in mail order and chaeck availability.

    Good luck!

I have just called Demon tweeks, Superlite went bust many years ago apparently, there are many alternatives on the market, if you email craig at demon tweeks below he will send you direct whats available and prices - please give him fitment details and offset if possible.

*sigh* Nobody else has what I want. I'll try Craig, but I doubt he'll be able to help me.

Anyway, thanks much for putting that to rest.

UK ebay is probably your best bet, they used to be very popular, in a lot of cases in the uk other companies buy the castings etc - so a little digging and you'll probably find a very similar product. Fisher sports cars used to use them (see racing pic above) they have been sold now too, but widen your search and you may get lucky.

    Good luck.

Problem is that the reason I was all excited about Superlight is that they offer a completely customizable set up for size, width, and offset. Offered I should say, damn it! Off the rack won't work for me. I sent a message to Craig, so we'll see what he says.

Thanks guys!! I've looked and looked, but never found either of these. One of them will work, I'm sure.

The Chat comes through! I am most likely to get a set of the Made in US 16x8s. They are reasonably priced so that I can afford to try them for fitment and performance, and then dial into my ultimate set.

BTW, here's the project for those that are interested: G.Sprint (purists doom) - Alfa Romeo Bulletin Board & Forums

    P. S. I think that the 16x8s will be perfect, but my constuctor disagrees...
