Because people who by $500K cars SHOULD fully understand the power behind the car and have a damn good idea of how to drive it and how it handles..........that is, if they appreciate it :)

Driving skills and and an extra $500k don't always go together.

Props to him for buying it, now he has more experience and will no doubt do better next time.

    Or not.

Accidents happen. You don't know the circumstances. You weren't there. The police didn't arrest him. That should tell you something.

All I see is jealousy and pettiness in your post.

He had a problem with one of his legs?? seriously? If he really has a problem with his legs why was he out driving in the first place?

I think everyone knows he mashed the gas and lost control... no question about that...

So is failure to control your vehicle not a crime or is that just an insurance thing?
    What about excessive acceleration?

In that video you can see him and the LEO laughing or chuckling, kind of makes you wonder what was so funny at that moment?

I'm not sure what you are getting at here. Yes, accidents happen... most likely this one was caused by him not fully appreciating the power of the car and not knowing how to drive it, JUST as I stated in my post. The police not arresting him also has nothing to do with my post.

What part of my post was jealous and petty? I simply stated what I thought, and what 99% of the people reading this are probably thinking.

There is absolutely NOTHING about this incident that has me jealous

Having been in a tough situation before with a few friends back in college the Highway patrolman that pulled us over eased the situation by asking us light-hearted questions to make us feel more calm.

I think you're over-analyzing it. The cops were probably glad no one was seriously hurt, and that he was sober.

I'm with Jason on the laughing bit. I'm sure when LEOs show up to a "pedestrians hit by car" call and they don't have to pull someone from beneath a car, it's easy to feel good.

However, I hope the driver realizes if he had a "leg problem" in a large suv, he might be facing manslaughter charges. Hopefully he takes his self assesment for driving more seriously in the future. Driving when you shouldn't be doesn't just mean drunk.

The truth abt this wreck is the real owner is one of those 2 Nigerians you see cruising around together in the 2 drop head phantoms in white. His name is odi and he wrecked it but ran off bc he's involved in a lot of iffy endeavors if you know what I mean he paid a friend to take the fall....word on the street is alot of people saw a cop there and people who know odi know his wife has een telling people the cop was bought off....don't shoot the messenger....I'm very in the loop, haven't been on here in a lOng time but this is what many are saying around town

I don't know about the rumors, but all I will say is if it was anyone else hitting cars and running over people no matter what, they would have been arrested and or taken to jail.

Total BS what the cops did by letting him go? makes no sense.

Its a big cover up lol. The "witness" has the masonic symbol on his collar. Somehow D. Cheney and Halliburton are involved.

When I bought Amanda's Saturn Sky, it had a door jamb sticker that said:

"In case of accident return to the Progressive Chevrolet Body Shop, in Massillon Ohio".....

We noticed it and peeled in off, in downtown Nashville, TN.

Maybe it went back to Chicago!! :D :D :D
