Thanks! I'm enjoying the journey just as much, really love seeing this car come back to original.

Been a while I know, but I have a pretty good update to post. It's starting to look like a DeLorean again. More to come.

There was a lot of body filler in the right rear fender and it's in a weird spot, on a crease in a bend. *Sanding it out completely revealed that a dent puller was used and multiple holes were punched in the original panel. *This one will have to be replaced.

Our new to us replacement panel came in via ebay. *The old fender was just too bad to salvage between the dent puller holes and the fact it was in the crease. *I suspect this passenger rear combined with all the dings we have fixed along the way was the real reason the car was painted in the eighties...

With our roof alignment issue fixed earlier we dry fit the t-panel in place first and will lock it down with double sided mounting tape just as they did originally.

DMC in Humble, TX has just come out with this - a huge upgrade from the original factory unit. *It is a modern style fuel pump and sending unit all in one with an adapter module that plugs right in to the factory harness. *this eliminates a lot of problems the factory unit had, including boots that rotted and trashed up the tank, a wierd spider strainer that is a bottom feeder, and a cylinder style float that sticks and is unreliable. *Kudos to technology - this will all be a hidden upgrade.
