The real and Important question is ..... How the hell did you get more letters than the alphabet as your handle ?
almost worth he 24k to buy it and destroy it to ensure it is never driven again, shame the parts are worth nothing so it really is almost a 20-24k loss, it's not possible to put in my portfolio a capital loss here and there never hurts come tax season...
The QEW was literally a parking lot from Burlington to Niagara this afternoon. I haven't ever seen it backed up that far... Pure bumper to bumper traffic. And in that mess was a black DBS and a stunning yellow Diablo 6.0 VT
Decided to pass by Yorkville on the way to dinner with friends yesterday and spotted a Challenge Stradale in immaculate condition infront of Sotto Sotto. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes, took us roughly 3.5 hours to get from downtown Toronto to Niagara-on-the-Lake. It was a parking lot on the way back too.
R/TEnthusiast I was in Niagara on the lake yesterday as well. Had the 4598 spider parked on the main street with the top up. Was there from 1-3pm. Took the service roads all the way to Grimsby then on to the QEW. Very smooth sailing.
Long weekends down here are always a zoo, families doing the day excursion from GTA to the falls alone clog the roads, and I do have to wonder about their driving skills... Add in the usual clusterpuke at the QEW/403 split to Hamilton which causes slowdowns at least 5-10 kms in advance as people cannot seem to handle the same split that has been in place for 20 years. That and the new bottle neck at Centennial Parkway make the QEW to Niagara just a pain in the butt if not driven off hours (early morning weekends or late evenings weekdays). That said I come down here 10-14 times a year and the roads are pretty nice to drive in a prancing horse
Yeah I can imagine any of the highways would've been a mess in the evening. Smart man. I've always wondered why more people don't use that rather empty road that runs parallel to the QEW... But hey, the fewer that are aware of it's benefits, the better! Lol.
BTW, anyone know of a good shipping carrier for sending a car form Toronto to Okotoks, Alberta? A friend is looking to ship his daily driver out there. Perhaps someone here has good recommendations and/or experience in this.
For a regaular car (non exotic etc) you can't beat Hansens or Searail. Always call first because one is usually a tad cheaper than the other.
this morning around 10am. YES Mario - I presented him a Marques d'Elegance flyer, but he said he's already seen it - but that day is his wedding anniversary. He also owns a Nissan GT-R and a Ford GT. Is putting on a show Aug 12 but mostly tuners, classics, muscle cars by the look of it. If anyone wants the show info, PM me. Chris Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Tonal graphite sketch for "F430 Challenge" - an acrylic on canvas piece that I am currently working on for the art exhibit featuring my past and present works to be featured at the Marques d'Elegance show later this month. This will be the the work's first public display. GT Image Unavailable, Please Login
Titanium colored Murcielago Roadster parked outside the Bramalea City Center today. Such a wild car, even the pre-LP model!
Such a bummer today, fully detailed my car, have the top down on the QEW going to Flying school to learn to fly thanks to "someone" here that told me it's a good idea...doesn't it start pouring on me with my top down?? I have minutes ... seconds ... to pull off and put the top up and all of a sudden a heavenly chime from the sky and bright blue skys and sunshine....ruined my detail job
Life really sucks for you Reza LOL Thousands on this forum would have been happy to be in your shoes.
