    All,
The Glickenhaus Group, Lime Rock Park, and The Possibility Project have come together to offer two great charity events. Both help fund the same worthy cause by giving under privileged youths the chance to channel energies through the creative arts. After spending some time with some of the projects participants, I can vow for the impact it has on their outlook and demeanor.

To read more about the program: http://the-possibility-project.org/about/overview/

The first event is a personal tour of Jim’s garage. Among the cars that will be onsite are the Ferrari P4/5 by Pininfarina, Dino Competitione, the oldest existing Ferrari, and race cars from the 1960s including a Lola T-70 driven by Mark Donnahue, a 1960 Ford Mark IV that came in fourth at Les Mans, and a Ferrari P4. Not only will you get to see this exclusive collection in person, but talk to Jim about his recent adventures at the 24hr of Nurburgring where the P4/5 Competizione made racing history
    (Story here - http://jalopnik.com/ferrari-p4%5C5-competizione/).

This is going to be a limited event of 10 tickets (i.e. no crowds) and brunch will be provided.

The second event is a Skip Barber High Performance Driving school at Limerock Park. This is a full day event and as anyone who has participated in previous events knows, an truly awesome time. Skip Barber does a great job of combining classroom education and actual seat time. And the best part is you get to drive some great cars such as the Porsche 911/Cayman, Lexus IS-F, Lotus Elise, BMW M3. Dates are flexible with available courses.
    This is one ticket only.

Both auctions will end on Jul 22, 2012 08:00 PM EDT

Thanks for your support and good luck bidding !

Why is one of the "Buy Now" prices $1,000 and the others $500? It looks like 1 ticket for each but maybe I am missing something?

Kirk - Thanks for the question. The reason for the $1000 ticket was to allow for people to donate more. Believe it or not, last time there were requests for a higher donation option.

I bought one of the spots for the visit to/brunch at Jim's garage. Really looking forward to it. And happy to contribute to a great cause.

    Hi all,
With the closeout date of July 22nd coming up we still have 3 garage tour spots open and the driving school available.

Frankly, I am surprised the school is only at 2 bids. This is a ton of fun, and is valued at $1800. So this is a heck of a deal to say the least.

Get in on it while there is still time !
