I need to redo my air box, I made the mistake of painting it with regular semi-gloss black. Need to strip the paint and redo with wrinkled paint. Has anyone done this and what paint did you use?

    The airbox crackle finish:
    1) automotive spray primer, gray
    2) black wrinkle paint (Plasti-Kote #217)

    or
    3) Eastwood Wrinkle Paint Black Aerosol 12 oz

I would like to get it to look like the first pic, the second photo is mine at the moment.
Plan to take the bottom half out and respray it like the top but still will keep the chrome horsey, I don't like the white painted "Ferrari" letter look and the stencil sucked when I tried it.
