Brock - Good to see you again the other day - thanks for reaching out! In reviewing the photos, it is clear that the ~1800 hours your F355 spent in Pininfarina's wind tunnel did beautiful things to it! My little English car looks like a brick next to it! (Although Peter Stevens eventually figured out curves - see the McLaren F1). Can't argue with this kind of weather in March. Supposed to be nice again this weekend. Perhaps we can meet up again soon. Anyone else want to meet up if the weather is nice? Anytime! Also - FWIW - I *love* TdF blue. One of my old cars was Acapulco blue (It was also flat, angular and square): Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Had a fantastic time! Looks like we may have another Ferrari wanting to join us for some exercise..... He got it delivered this week!
Cool! I'm always up for connecting and seeing new machinery up close. The weather is supposed to be pretty nice. Like I said last weekend - from *my* perspective - anyone who wants to get together and chat about cars (*regardless of what you currently drive*) is always welcome to join up. I have the love for all sorts of weird sportscars. Of course I certainly love Ferrari (and had the priviledge of being at the British GP in July to watch (and, as importantly, hear) Alonso rip around Silverstone in the priceless 1951 375 before winning the actual race): http://www.formula1.com/gallery/race/2011/861/special.html I have not pulled the trigger on a Ferrari yet, but thats because the stars haven't quite aligned (a Marrone (you know: brown) '86 412GT hasn't popped up for sale here in Omaha). I'm weird but is anyone else *seriously lusting* after that poor little 164S that is for sale down in Lincoln right now? If my garage wasn't full - and I even had a little bit of mechanical talent - I probably would already have bought it (and its non-S cousins). From my perspective, rescuing that car and bringing it back would be such great "practice" for exotic ownership in so many ways. My little black Fiat Spider 2000 was an excellent introduction to Italian machinery. Heck at this point, a 164S *is* pretty exotic by just about any definition. I've had two Alfas and I love them. Crazy idea: Assuming it is still available, we team up and take a drive down there to look at it on Saturday morning! Anyone? http://lincoln.craigslist.org/cto/2884372534.html

Mow your lawn. I drove by at 1:15 today, had to meet a friend at a Harley place, figured WTH, maybe you are out waxing your white car.....
Most anyone making over $75k/year can afford a measly 355. The Murci is an entirely different league....
Aston Martin DBS and GT2 @ Charleston's during lunch hour. -pictures taken - will post later. Got home and my wife bragged she followed a White Ferrari! Tried to get more details but she doesn't know the differences, she just saw the name and badge on the back. Assuming it was either the 458 or the 599 spotted previously.
Just think of a ferrari as a 4th child. Cost is similar. You could always buy one and then tell the wife afterwords. It's always easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission!
People make their choices. I choose to not have kids. Therefore, I own a Ferrari even though I ain't wealthy.
Well, 2 and 3 were "whoops" but at least we can budget the daycare costs by having an au pair for a few years until they're all in school. W/O daycare, a Quattroporte AND an Espada probably wouldn't be a problem.
