In the endless universe of my archive I digged out this 2 photos: first shows #0456 in front of the residence of Mario Z. in Bavaria together with his two Alfas. The second photo shows #0456 in 1984(?) prior its resto in the USA. © Walter Bäumer Collection. Ciao! Walter Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Just for the record, that "2nd Alfa" is a Fiat 1900 Gran Luce. A very peculiar car for a Fiat indeed. Best wishes, Kare
That photo must have been taken between February 1959 and October 1961. This is when Mario Zoelch owned 0465 GT and had it registered on Bolzano license plates. Marcel Massini
This is off topic but Walter take a look at these 300S period pics I just found: http://www.cliffreuter.com/etceterinimaserati300spage.htm Cheers, Cliff Reuter
Definitely PF. Received on 04.04.56 and given scocca (job) no. 12592. Destined to Emanuele Nasi, a first cousin to Gianni Agnelli and member of the FIAT board. Only 4 of these 513-128 250GTs PF coupés were made.
This car was recently offered by Continental Motor Sports from Chicago area ---with non-original engine. Asking price was around $800,000 if I recall. Ken Goldman
In October 2009 Continental was asking US$ 900 K. Yes, has a non-original and restamped engine. Marcel Massini
Hi everybody, I just joined the community as I became curious when I read the results (inlcuding the Ferrari Chat) after having googled my father's Name "Mario Zoelch". I have lots of pics of his wonderful cars he owned, but whenever you have any News where the cars have gone to and who are the owners, but are the conditions, etc., kindly let me know. Best Regards, TIM
That sounds great Tim. We would be very happy, if you could post some Ferrari pics with additional Information (date, location...) here!
