Saw a orange Gallardo Spyder top down around 1pm headed soth on rt28 at Linton Hall Rd in Bristow. Looked like a couple was enjoying the day.

 

Spotting has been really crappy lately.

Lotus Exige on Vera Cruz Road just outside of Emmaus today.

 

White R8 V10 trying to turn onto Rt 378 in Bethlehem bright and early this morning.

 

Nice day for car spotting considering it was really crappy out.

I saw a black 458 today in Barrington, NJ. You came out of the gas station onto White Horse Pike and gunned it up to make the left onto Copley Rd and past the 295 on-ramp. It sounded incredible

 

Yellow Porsche GT2 (997) at the Promeande this afternoon.

 

I was in VA yesterday and saw a Red 512 TR (prob same as above), Orange Lamborghini Superleggera and to many Maserati's to count.

 

Spotted a Silver/Red F430 on Montchanin Rd in Wilmington yesterday around 1PM. Got a wave.

 

Beautiful silver 599 at Fair Oaks Mall today around noon- In the rain (gasp!)

STICKING out of a garage in someones hood- not going to mention where due to privacy.

 

Dark red 355 spyder on Reston Pkwy/Fox Mill Rd around 1pm today. That car was sitting really really low!

 

Despite the cold weather and bad roads, I saw quite a bit today.
-Red Corvette ZR1 a mile from the Springfield Mall
-A black Nissan GT-R with orange brake calipers in Upper Darby
-I went to check out the Ritttenhouse Square garage, and I saw a brand new black audi R8 V10 coupe with the Gold Bentley that's always there.

Couldn't see, he was going other direction and I was in the fire engine. That thing sits to high and he was way low, couldn't get a look.

I spotted a red 355 spider (IIRC) at the gas station in Newark near 896/95 earlier today.

 

May have been mine and I would be more than happy to take it off if you pay the tickets . I pass a Fairfax City officer 99% of the time I am in the car and I can tell you they have no tolerance at all.
I agree it looks awful but what you gonna do?

 

White Rolls Royce Ghost on Tilghman Street in Allentown today.

 

Being in FFX City makes it tough for sure, those guys have zero sense of humor or grace it seems. I have been pulled over a couple of times in the 360 and M5 for no front plate and never once given a ticket. Twice by State Troopers who let me go. I simple carry the plate in the trunk and explain there is no place to mount it and the let me go after seeing the plate.

 

I have heard similar stories to yours and did consider not having that front plate but I have a buddy with a 430 that got a ticket the first time he drove his car through FFX city. Even had his plate on the passenger seat. I then decided to keep my money in my pocket and just put on the plate. Living in FFX city would lead me to become very popular with the FFX City police. Too bad they can't appreciate things of beauty and look the other way. What a sad change it has made to the front of the car
