Hi, The 'Tehran Cafe Racers', our "Car Guy Lunch Group" just celebrated its one year anniversary right before Ramadan. The group, which is backed by the Classic Car Committee of the Iranian Automobile Federation, and affiliated with the Sarasota Cafe Racers Group (founded by Marty Schorr of Iso -Motion fame) provides classic owners the opportunity to meet up with their fellow enthusiasts for lunch. Lunches are usually preceded by a road trip or track day with the main purpose being to provide owners an opportunity/excuse to bring out their cars. You can get the full story of the one year celebration at www.CarGuyChronicles.com. With over 41cars participating we had a full gamut ranging from an original Baldwin Motion Camaro to a Maserati Khamsin and everything in between from a Porsche 356 to Lancia Beta Spyder, not to mention a Ford Skyliner, and a broad array of Bimmers and Mercs including a 300sl. I hope you enjoy the pics. Photo's are courtesy of Tehran Cafe Racer Keyvan Moradi. To Mike and Michael, Here are some more pictures of the Italian contingent. Sorry no Ferrari's. What they lacked in numbers, they made up in quality. Enjoy. Regards, Ramin Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi Guys, Just had another Cafe Racer road trip / lunch on October 13. Not too many Italian cars, but we had another eclectic mix ranging from a 911 Carerra to an Olds Cutlass convertible. We started the morning gathering at the Darabad Zoo before heading off to the city of Fasham, a forty minute drive from Tehran. Enjoy ! Ramin Image Unavailable, Please Login
On the road to Fasham. One passerby got a little over exuberant when seeing this Alfa. A bit busy. Will post some more pics shortly. Cheers ! Ramin Image Unavailable, Please Login

Khamsin!! back when Maseratis were Masers.. Merak..Bora.. etc.. I've always thought that if you broke one of those khamsin glass tailgates, you had to pretty much hand your checkbook to a glazier... Love the black Mustang..
