Good luck to all of you trying to stay up with me in this.... Those bumper guards are not just for looks! Brian Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hey Steve that 917 had a very powerful 76hp 1600cc motor! Not sure if you heard that I smashed my Viper ACR into the wall at Heartland Park? Deon you can park your Banana next to my Orange. There will be plenty of other Fruits at this event.
You see the car Brian posted was actually a car Jerry brought to Crescent a few years ago. He was suprised that everyone thought is to be fake and was chided (he was chided for the car and for the fact that he had gay porn mags under the seats). He thus moved on to the ACR. Thus the banter back and forth.
So does the gay porn mags make the car faster or slower or is an ACR a gay car?. It still is a 100k above my head.
Ha ha those Magazines! Man that is a story! A guy at work bought a house from two guys. Some of their mail continued to arrive. One of the pieces of mail were gay porn mags. I took one of the magazines and put it in Viveks Lamborghini thinking his girlfriend would find it. The magazine must have slipped under the seat and stayed there for a while. He took the car in for service and as they were detailing it, they found the magazine. I think they were too embarrased to offer Vivek his magazine back so they asked Steve about it. Steve knows Vivek was straight and somehow they knew I was up to a prank. Jerry "Exit Only" Dobson
Deon, The Gallardo is much more exhilarating to drive than the Viper. They are very different cars. The Viper has more low end power, this makes the car more useable but offers less excitement. The Gallardo has some numbness being all wheel drive. The fit and finish is superior on the Gallardo, and the sound is incredible. The interior and leather work are fantastic. It draws more attention (good thing for a single guy). I REALLY like the Gallardo. If I was going to do track events, my tool of choice would still be the Viper ACR. Its like using a 15 pound sledge hammer to hang a picture on the wall. There is no finesse but man will it get the job done.
My new toy, new valve guide service completed last thurday night. I have already put 500 plus miles on it, LOVE this car! Thanks for the heads up Vince. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Matt and I are looking for some open seats and taking offers lol, let us know if you'll have a spot open one day. Can't be more ecited to be going back this year!
Porsche looks amazing, I love your Stradale and got some amazing shots last year, and the P4 clone is such a cool car... just don't let Scott drive it again this year lol.
Kevin, I know I will have an open seat at least one of the days. You are welcome to join me if you could stand a very lound 35 year old sports car. BTW, would love to see the Stradale pics. Didn't know you got any. Scott can drive P4 any time. After driving his 250 GT for the entire event, he earned even more respect from me. Throttle cable needed to be replaced anyway.
Steve raises a good point. I will have an open seat some of the time but will probably run with the slow group. You might not go with me as Chris already indicated that they will run over me. (Shucks us poor Lambo owners and drivers that are clueless).
congrats! we'll be back in the GranSport (13k miles since Crescent last year), I haven't told Jennie, but if its cooler I will beg to bring the 328.
