Anybody have a link to what famous/celebrity drivers will be attending? I know that Bob Bondurant and George Follmer almost always show up...who else? I need some autographs!!! Thanks, LS
Dont forget the Concours d'LeMons, Aug. 20, 2011 at Laguna Grande Park across from Seaside City Hall just east of the Embassy Suites. And here is the best part, we are charging what its worth this year... NOTHING!!! FREE for spectators. Come on out and see the worst of the car world while some old millionaire is doing parade laps in his old race car at Laguna and calling it "racing". You'll have a LOT more fun in Seaside, trust me. All of the usual suspects will be there, Pinto's, Pacers, Gremlins, Tatra's... you name it. If its crappy, it will be there. Stop by and say howdy. I'm the tall guy in the sombrero (hard to miss), Melissa (Mrs. Choptop) is the tall/hot chick at the t-shirt booth. She's also our trophy babe. see ya'll there.
If my crappy hotel internet allows, I'll be doing daily updates! http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?p=140743470#post140743470
Brian - was great meeting you this evening. Thanks again for the Cannery Row tip off too. We got there just in time. >8^) ER
I'll be there on Sunday, wandering around taking photos. Peloton, I remember you from years ago on Supercars dot net. My handle there was BMWspd. I was recently browsing through your extensive thread on team-speed, re-educating myself on the F1. Your knowledge rivals the engineers of those cars, I'm sure. I'm hoping to see one down there as well.
There are two in the McLaren tent just oustide the Lodge at Pebble Beach facing the main fairway where the Concours is held. I spent about two hours in there yesterday doing a photoshoot for Team Speed. Then there will be one more on the Concept Green next to the Lodge on Sunday. US deliveries will not begin until at least October or so since everything was pushed back a couple months, so there shouldn't be any of them out on the streets here unless an early delivery UK car was flown over for the event. SCDavid - sent you a PM. >8^) ER
There was a veyron ss doing a run down 1 late afternoon yesterday. Pretty impressive to see it at speed
Happens every Concorso, the skies today around Sacramento have unusually high private jet traffic. Many pretty birds passing through..
Passed ten of 'em in a line last night headed North on Hwy 1 between Munras and Aguajito in our rental Fiat 500! French plates, UK plates, just killer! I'm at the track Saturday and Sunday (been here since a week ago). Working with Bud M in the 312T5, Harin deS in the Osella and Shadow DN3, Bob H in the Echidna and Nick I in his Chevron. Will be in a blazer with a Panama and a laptop bag both days. Looking forward to it.
When I was there, there were 5; then the SS showed up about 10 minutes later. I didn't see the silver one in the front. Amazing to see all at one time. It was nice seeing you in Carmel Brian; too bad we didn't get to really talk. Orrie, it was a pleasure meeting you; sorry we couldn't get things to work out with the photoshoot. I'll be posting my photos gradually as I get chances to edit them. Can't wait for next year. -G.B.

Ms Spencer is staying at our B&B. She does car restorations for a living. Never met a female who does that.

No problem at all; glad you guys enjoyed them and I hope many others do too. I may be adding more photos as I sift through the remaining ones on my card. Nice shots! Thanks for sharing. I REALLY like that Fisker; looks 10000 times better in the flesh. -G.B.
