I'm one who is not in favor of banning Lukewarmwater. But, I think if he knew William H like the rest of us do, he'd understand better.
I'm on the golf course typing on my phone sorry. You don't want to get into a grammar contest with me lol. I don't even go there anymore because its a sign you're out of real bullets when you start critiqing other's writing skills. Talk more smack about my kit car that was the basis of your kit car. Much more entertaining...
You missed my point while you're on the golf course......word on the street is you no longer have a GT. So lets skip grammar and move on to context.
That is correct. I sold the car earlier this spring. I still call many of my old toys "my" this or that. The GT was a fantastic car. I had it for a couple years and sold it for what I had in it. Should I have kept it... maybe. I think they are going nowhere but up. That said I'm into experiencing new things and after two years it was time for something else. You're on the GT forum correct? Cars are certainly not my only hobby. I play a lot of golf in the summer and ride sleds in the winter. Life is good. Just don't put a wing on your GT okay? http://summitx.com/ http://www.youtube.com/user/booger65man "My" GT http://fordgtchannel.com/images/2010073102.jpg
They are spectacular cars. If you have one, keep it. If you can find one at a decent number, buy it. Prices seem to be spiking now and I'm not sure it's from irrational exuberance or not but they are definitely not going to slide down.
Looks like this weekend, I'm going to meet somebody who has put a wing on their Ford GT. They tell me it is engineered to work well.
I'm not sure how a wing will look on that car. The lines are too clean in my opinion. Sent from my Xoom using Tapatalk
Rather than have appearance seduce more important for drag to reduce so one can deduce But, yeah - beyond an otherwise seamless air brake/spoiler, it'd lose it's certain elan, that seems certain. The pic of Luke's GT alone speaks volumes of how timelessly well executed the GT is - not only as a slippery homage, but as-is in this era and well beyond foreseeable future, let alone multiples of any speed limit, then, now or beyond.
Why wait a week Not my thing but more power to him. At least wrap or paint the wing mounts errr rear bumper mounts to match please. http://www.fordgtforum.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=21413&d=1311612509 http://www.fordgtforum.com/forums/showthread.php?22783-Thank-you-Stormcat!!!
Got my GT deadline now My 30th high school reunion is in June 2012 and I plan on rolling in driving my new Ford GT with Bigazz wing of course, baby seat & straight pipes LOL
I know that isnt the system I'm expecting to see. A few weeks ago I was toying with a dsr wing... For a dsr

Wings can make a huge difference. My race version has one and makes 2800 lbs of downforce at 50 MPH less than than my road version makes 1500 lbs of downforce. My Ford could probably use a wing as it makes 952 lbs. of lift at VMAX but I'll probably keep that stock.
What I find remarkable about those 952 lbs of lift is that this never happened Image Unavailable, Please Login
