Is anyone going there? There will be an auction. Has anyone entered their car for the show?
Quite a few people then. I'll be in Sunday show. I entered only last week as I was sure I could make it. If you guys meet to drive down, let me know. I'll join. I always drive the car, never trail, that is part of the fun. Not sure if you would go from Farmington but if you do, we can exchange cell phone and we could hook up from 84 at a place like the truck stop or somewhere else on 15.
I'm heading down from Rhode island to spectate! I hear pretty much every type of car will be there. That true?
Ya I can't wait. Comming down on Saturday! Any areas in Greenwich to see some F Cars? Like any specific roads or areas?
Well you have to stop by Miller Motorcars on West Putnam Avenue, and then Carriage House Motors near the Greenwich train station. Or just stay over Saturday night and see the European sports cars at the Concours on Sunday. There will be a lot of nice Ferraris, both inside the show and in the parking lot. The parking lot is probably the best used car lot on the planet during the Greenwich Concours since so many of the cars parked there are for sale. Or not.
It moved from downtown Westport to the Fairfield County Hunt Club, also in Westport, several years ago. The new location has a lot more room and is able to display many more cars with plenty of room between them. http://www.fairfieldcountyconcours.com/direction.html
You'll be amazed. I've driven down from VT just to see the show. You'll see just about everything you can imagine you will be surrounded by Fcars and like another poster stated make sure you check out the cars in the parking lots also.
Ya, I'm staying in a Hotel Saturday night and going to the show sunday. I'll def check out miller motors! I would be so happy if I saw a Carrera Gt during my stay =D
I have a car in the Bonhams sale - I will be with the car (white 1963 MB 220SEb coupe) all day Saturday and Sunday. Come by and say hello! A
The scene over at the next door Delamar Hotel & L'Escale outdoor bar is great too. It looks like a gorgeous weekend to boot! In Ct the Greenwich Concours and The Fairfield Hunt Club show are really very well done. There are two other upcoming lower key venues as well- The Tilley Pond Fathers Day show in Darien & The New Canaan Motorsports show in the Fall. We have a fun summer shaping up!!
Don't forget the FCA/NER Concorso Ferrari & Friends Show on Father's Day at the Farmington Polo Club in Farmington,CT....if anyone wants to see a REAL 1964 250 GTO! ; )
Just got back from the Concours, and it was great. And I have to sincerely say that one of my favorite cars was the Baja Boot. I've never seen it before, and truthfully it was amazing.
