Five Guys bacon cheeseburger. It was good, but at over $7 for just a burger and drink, I'll take in-n-out every time.
I'm making french onion soup for tonight, so I had a cup full of the onion soup part of it for lunch.
Pizza Hut I got a buy one get one offer. One pan pizza with pineapples and another pan with olives and sausage.
Post count. Today I had re-grilled polish sausage with hot peppers, tons of mustard, on a bun. MMMmmm.
Does anybody here live or work near Ashwin? If so, please take this poor kid out for a real lunch sometime!
Aren't you Indian? Have any family close by? Most restaurant Indian food is frickin' awesome; I can only imagine what a good, home-cooked Indian meal must taste like!
My family is about 15-25 minutes away. I tend to go there about once a month. There is an Indian restaurant across the street from my apartment, but it's expensive. I was thinking about just buying a rice cooker. I definitely need to learn how to cook though.
Yes, I remember being young and on my own (in Monterey/Pebble Beach - talk about expensive). To begin with, you can't go wrong with a rice cooker and a slow cooker. With very little skill, you can use these to make some pretty tasty stuff - until you either find time to develop better cooking skills, see a sizable enough increase in your income so that good restaurants are no longer out of reach, or find someone who can cook for you on a daily basis. If you're lucky, it might just be all three.
And you lived to tell the tale! Crispy sesame beef at szechaun. Can't wait for the crunchy beef loaded with chilis and honey and sesame oil and garlic.
Nope. They're from Tanguito in San Francisco. http://www.yelp.com/biz/tanguito-san-francisco . In SoCal my favorite empanadas were in El Monte http://www.yelp.com/biz/titos-market-el-monte-2#query:empanada
