Devon, I have had several PM exchanges with a number of alumnae(who say they are close to the group). And the only person who spoke directly with an actual club officer post show. They have all openly admitted the officer who I spoke to after the show dropped the ball(he has been identified as a member who has graduated)... I don't care for any show to do bad, but when people are telling me they are posting our experiences on other forums and I myself is seeing our experience come up on several other forums Im on I suspected it would affect attendance. Clearly I was wrong.

I once was part of a number of groups at Northeastern, I know the importance of fundraising and I am pretty sure if you read back I dont think you saw me talking about the money lining officer's pockets. In any case I heard that a number of things were changed this year to keep a similar incident from happening again. Congrats to the club for making the changes and putting on what sounds like was a succesfull event.

Sorry for my initial reaction with my last post, I was a bit irritable this morning and your post just rubbed me the wrong way. I didn't mean to come off like such a prick in it.

That said, the person you spoke to definitely did drop the ball with his promise. Had it been known he made that promise I think it would have been delivered. He did so merely to try and save face in such a way that caused the club to be hurt with the higher end owners of cars. Though from what I hear, there were many GTR's there, apparently more GTR's than Civics... A feat impressive in it's own right.

Hopefully you'll all reconsider and come next year.
