Thank you for the reply I need one for a 328 GTB 1991. Would it work ? What is the process to order one ? phone number ? email ? I am located in France Thanks
How have these been working out? Especially compared to the GT Auto Parts one? How hard are they to install? Car is a Mondial t Cab. Starts and runs great. However, was stolen and recovered. Thieves apparently could not get it started. They played with the electrical system. Things like heater and AC worked so-so before being stolen. Now, rarely work. Thinking of redoing the electrical system this spring.
The GT has been working great in my T Cab...lots of little annoyances have seemed to disappear. (Let's call in 95th percentile...) Given mine is an 89, that's great IMHO.
Thanks John for the information. You probably do not remember it, but years ago you gave me Mondial information when I first considered Mondials. Thanks for all the information. Dave
I do, glad to know that I have shared my vice with others so that when my wife asks me why I do it, I can point to other crazies like yourself! - JMG
Sorry, I somehow lost track. So there are two types of fuseboxes available by now? The one from Zertec and a GT fusebox? What is the best option for Mondial t?
looking to replace the box in my 1986 3.2 Mondial Cab - US Edition. If available how does one obtain one and do you require a "core" box before (or after).
One obtains by purchase...I have purchased for several Mondi's through GT Car Parts in Phoenix 623-780-2200. I have always been happy with the results.
I guess my question more specifically was whether the Zertec "new build" fuseboxes are available and where they can be purchased. Is this what GT Car Parts Sells? My understanding was the GT rebuilds boxes themselves but uses the old relays, etc from cores that it gets back. I am trying to decide among the options of 1) a rebuilt box from GT, 2) send my box to Dave Helms for the Scuderia Rampante upgraded fuse box, or 3) the Zertec box, if available and if it is from all new components.
GT, at the time I purchased, was simply a new board with blacks for relays et all. The board was redesigned around more current technology than the wafer filled Ferrari OEM boards of that era.
Is there any consensus on repairing/replacing Mondial 3.2 fuse boards? Should I go w/ GT Auto Parts, which will take longer, or with Scuderia Rampante's replacement board? What are the prices? THanks!
Hi, I am really interestetd, but are you shure it works? Das it fit to a 1981 308, or a 1984 quadrovalvole? The plug ins are the same but the harness is different. You know I have both, a 1981 308, and a 1984 convertble quadrovalvole. The Fusebox from the 1981 is really a problem to get. Can you help me? Sincerelly yours Franz Dieter Seiwert
I am looking for a replacement Fuse / Relay Box for my Mondial. I would prefer the blade type fuses to replace the bullet style and an upgraded circuit board (rather than just replacing my board with a later model). Scuderia Rampante and GT Car Parts are both out of stock and won't be able to rebuild or supply at this time. Anyone else? Please reply to this thread or PM me. thanks.
Why not get the best Fuse Box available from Dave Helms at SRI? Link to his site: Fuse Box - Scuderia Rampante
Hello together What is the cost of the Remanufactured fuse box for my Car a Mondial 3.2 QV Construction Year 1987/1988. Please allow the shipment to Germany, with in. Thanks Mondial.88 [email protected]
Hi Mondial.88, I just sent you a PM of Fchat member theunissenguido who makes them too here in Europe.
Dear Sir, does your Fusebox fit to a Mondial 8, from 1981 ? Or eventuelly to a Mondial 8 Quadrovalvole, from 1983? Sincerely yours Franz
Hey Franz, I bought one of his and it works in my '85 QV just fine, elecrically speaking. Installed it and it fixed all of my electrical issues.
Do you have one *sorry I did not read every post on this thread. For a 1986 Mondial Coupe> Send me a PM Thanks Andrew
