If it doesn't rain, how's going to Caffeine and Octane this weekend? http://www.caffeineandoctane.com/
Mansell Road and Northpoint Parkway. If you get off at Mansell, go East a few hundred yards and you will see/hear the cars! The actual spot is called Mansell Crossing.
I'm going. 5 minutes from the house. To expand on the directions below, turn on Northpoint and it is the first shoping center on the right (first light) with theaters, Starbuck's, and Barnes and Noble.
If the weather is decent, I'll make the trip. I live right around the corner from the old location, but the new one is far enough away from the house to make it a nice drive.
Grab me three spots, I'll grab you two! I need 1.5 for the GT doors. Dang Ford. I hope it doesn't rain because my I want to show off the new purchase. Hope to see you SUNDAY (right?).
On a side-note......... Vicky and I will probably head to Pappadaux for their Sunday Brunch (which is excellent) come 10am if anyone else is interested. (Again, pending some decent weather)
This is sounding like a fun Sunday. I'll see what the family wants to do, but brunch and the Falcons would be a great time.
Can anyone open the C&O website? I keep getting a "bandwidth exceeded" notice. I just want to confirm the location, figure the time will be about 8am like usual.
Regarding "space greedy"... We plan to print and then issue the following for those that take up more than one space: PARKING NOTICE Vehicle Description ___________________________ Date _____________ This is not a ticket, but if it were within my power, you would receive one. If you will look down at your feet, you will see painted lines. They may be white, or they may be yellow. They designate the area within which you are expected to park your car. This is out of respect to others participating in the gathering and the organizers that wish for all to enjoy themselves. It might help if you tried more than once to put your car between said lines. Dont be discouraged just try not to hit the cars on each side of you on your next try (or arrive early enough to avoid the issue/embarrassment). Now if you, somehow, for some reason, feel it is your right to park as you have, I wish you an unexpected transmission failure, preferably in heavy traffic, or in the very early morning on a deserted road. Or, if you honestly think you have done the best you can, and realize that you are just a lousy parker and need more help, stop trying to compensate and buy a car that better matches your parking skills, physical attributes and apparent mental capacity.
Good one......... I came in one time and parking was limited.....had one of the groups say the spot was reserved for their friend who was running late. (I mean give me a f'in break here). Not to detract more.............. SEE EVERYONE SUNDAY..........looking to be nice(r).
ford gt's definitely need two spaces. ferraris need two also. makes the quick detail spray work easier or room for the mechanic to work. take your pick.
Are you sure that is the right lot? Google Maps seems to think that it is across the street, on the WEST side of Northpoint Parkway. No matter; just look for a lot of cars with raised hoods!
As CharlesE (and others have said regarding THE location)- it's .....turn onto Northpoint (from Mansell) and it is the first shoping center on the right (first light) with theaters, Starbuck's, and Barnes and Noble. How easy is that to remember?!
I amy be wrong as i thought the theaters were on the shoping center on the right was called Mansell crossing. I'll do a drive by this morning and report back later. regardles, you will either turn left or right the first light....as Jim said just turn where you see cars with the raised hoods.
