Is this the DK Engineering car? I believe this car changed hands twice in the last month... Apparently it spent all its life in Holland and I was offered this car a few weeks ago. I was then told it was sold and then Mario Bernardi offered it on his website for a week or so before it disappeared again. It has now resurfaced at DK... Goes to show that this 288 market is going nuts... Apparently it is a good car, at least according to a couple of friends who've seen it. Since the car was in Holland, I am pretty sure Kees Van Stokkum will be able to tell you lots about it...I can put you in touch with him if you like. Really nice guy and very meticulous

That's a famed plate which was placed upon 56759 when delivered new to Colin Briggs in Scotland. Subsequently it was transferred to 55721, which is the car you see it affixed to in the image above.
What ever happened to the factory yellow 288 gto, I think it was a prototype and I believe it was up for auction a couple of years ago.
This is the clearest picture I can find it was sold at rm auctions 2007 for 506,000 euro Image Unavailable, Please Login
In January I will set a completion schedule and hopefully get the book published by late 2011. The Miura book took the best part of a decade, this one just a couple of years.. Image Unavailable, Please Login
