    Seeking info from FerrariChat's knowledgeable 400/412 owners. I am having some difficulty locating air filters for a 412i. Would prefer KN filters but open to suggestions. Any info appreciated. Thanks to all. 330Guy

    I recently bought 2 air filters for my 400 at www.ferrariparts.co.uk part# 113283 (UFI air filters)

    Maranello Concessionaires recently lowerded their prices by 25% and when shipping to the US you don't pay tax or VAT. Shipping is not expensive from the UK. I have good expierences with them. In general their prices are better than the known part suppliers here in the US.

    As far as I know, K&N doesn't make a 4xx filter. They do make one that is similar that can be cut down on one side to fit.

    I don't remember the part number. I'll check for you later today.

    I think it might be an XKE filter.

    Or rather the brown UPS truck came a box of parts I had ordered nearly a month ago. It included the aforementioned air filters. Which for the record is UFI 3089700. Funny how just when you think an alternate means is required your first choice comes around. Incidentally, that reminds me of the story of how I found my first Ferrari.....Thanks to those whom proposed to help.

    Same filter as Volkswagon Combi if I recall correctly
