That's one hell of an off-roader with cool history. Definitely not street legal (right?) but pretty freakin sweet.

I should have known! P 4/5 C is a similar deal... As close to the edge of "street legal" as possible. That's pretty sweet. Let us know what you think of it when you use it (cause we all know you will).

Many unsold cars at Goodings, and while RM faired better on the face of it, my view is that Gooding more accurately represents the market.

Exceptional cars still get great prices, such as the Gill Nicol Ferrari, the SS100 Jag "best in the world" etc... But even some cars that usually could be considered as great attractions at auctions went unsold or sold at low estimate -10 to -20 pct.

Some good cars did not sell, we should of course, wait until tonight's headline auction to finalize and some-up the numbers. But seems that this weekend's auction lineup was the weakest in terms of results in view of the past 4 years in Monteray...

The great 500 Mondial coupe caught my eye. Great purchase price in the context of the past 3 year's market, let's hope it will be considered well bought in 3 years as well. Still, anyway you look at it, fantastic car!
