No problem, from what i understand, a lot of shady characters there, I think a lot of folks were there just to wash some cash, because I cannot understand the prices all the cars went for, even the Veyron and SV are not good deal like you would expect when buying form an auction.

The rest of the cars...sold for more than they would at a dealership...hell the 67 vette would of never fetched that kind of money in Barrett Jackson. not what i expected at all

Lots of rich idiots are familiar with Rothstein and probably wanted a piece of his notoriety and so they overpaid.

Good luck to the plaintiffs. As they've hopefully learned
there is a fine line between being an "investor" and
    being a victim.

The next thing they're going to learn will be that the
attorneys will be the only ones seeing any money from
    this debacle.

Would it change your opinion if you knew it wasn't running and hadn't been for a couple of years??? Never underestimate the cost of a boat mechanic or a jet engine mechanic -let alone a boat, jet engine mechanic.

I think it's a Fed case and you have to serve 85% of the sentence at least.

I believe his sentence can be further reduced based on post-sentencing cooperation with authorities. Unfortunately.

Even then I would consider it a life sentence he probably won't be out before he's 75.

    - and what about the rest of the perps? I guess our government can wrap this one up and wash their hands of it......another job well done?

It would certainly give me a little faith in our system if that were true - but if it's just Debra Whateverhernameis - that just deals with the two nitwits that ran in asking to be cuffed to the desk while they confessed to stealing a bunch of money - so G men we the public would love to think you guys are competent so go arrest some folks - unless you guys think the two nitwits you have now acted alone....

As far as I know, no one else has been charged, much less convicted.

If the weisel is singing to the Feds, finding
    accomplices/partners/victims should be like shooting
fish in a barrell as there is likely one degree of
separation between each of their greedy asses.

I thought he was going to rat out some mafia guys. Good thing he will be in jail for the rest of his life. Otherwise his severed head would probably have wound up under the clear engine cover of one of his Ferraris as a warning to others.

Teh women who is being sentenced on Friday is suppossed to get 10 years, but I think it will be more like 15-20 if public opinion counts.

On the news last night they had a survey and 70% of the people thought that Scott should have gotten more than 50 years.

Who is this? I wasn't aware of any other convictions/guilty pleas in this case.
