Could be a decent buy at that price. Make sure to ask the seller why he always skipped 2nd gear on the upshift in the videos, even after it was warmed up.

oh ya, the second gear syncro is weak...but he's does hammer it toward the end.
and if the reserve is $20K then it's still a steal...those tranny's aren't a big deal to fix.
change a few syncros, seals, ring nuts...fix a few other things...out the door for $30K.
you really just can't possibly beat that on a running, decent 5-speed, V-12 Ferrari...no way.

I'm pretty sure that the listing for the second car, #36919, is an old listing from when the car was for sale by Cannillo Motorsport in 2006. See the "pastinventory" tag on the url.

Cannillo Motorsport closed down in June 2009. Mike still has the website up but with no current inventory and the announcement below:

    "Hey Everyone,
It’s Michael Cannillo and I wanted to let everyone know Cannillo Motorsports Ltd. is closing it's Deer Park Showroom on June 1, 2009. I should be joining forces with my Ferrari mechanics early next year at the Alfa Auto Clinic and Dauntless Auto in Baldwin, NY. From there, I will continue buying and selling classic sports cars and I’ll still be specializing in Ferrari, Porsche, Alfa Romeo plus all our special marques. Plus, I, along with Alfa Auto Clinic will be expanding the range of services and the cars we’re selling to meet the needs of the market. Feel free to call me at 917-620-8158 to find out more about where we’re headed and what we’re up to.

I would like to take this time to thank all our customers and supporters for your loyalty and patronage. I hope everyone enjoyed the cars we bought and sold over the years. Again, I’ll still be here to help people navigate this market and most importantly, buy and sell their favorite classic cars. Thanks again for your support and I look forward to continuing to do business with you in the future. Take care and keep in touch!

    Sincerely,

    Michael D. Cannillo
    President
    Cannillo Motorsports Ltd"

I believe that this car (#36919) is, or was recently owned in 2007 by an FChatter in Reno, Nevada.

I bought 36919 from Cannillo back in 2006, drove it often, including a cross country trip, then sold it on ebay to a guy in Reno that already had a 400. I paid a little over 22k for it, and probably put another 8k into it, but it ran decent, and almost everything on it worked. Took a big hit on it when I sold it, but I chaled it up to the "experience". Had a blast with it, too!

Replaced it with a Porsche 928 with a 5 speed, which I still have.

That's funny. I live about 15 miles from where Cannillo used to be and almost traded my 83 308 for that very car in 2006. The car that I owned before I bought the 308qv in 2005 was a red/black '88 928s4 5-spd.
