Very cool. A friend here in SA has one of these, started out with the full length La France chassis and is now probably the shortest one around. Open exhaust, 14 litres displacement straight six, it's a blast! He also changed the gearing (sprockets) and keeps up with traffic in the fast lane and then some.

Wow! There's more than just a trace of Vignale's Maserati Mexico in those cars (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Maserati_Mexico.jpg). Never really thought of that before... Gabriel
You could be right, Japanese designers from that era seem to love copying elements from cars already in production. Personally, I see Chevy II Nova . Nissan was guilty of designing some of world's most hideous cars late mid 70's imho.
1983 Ferrari LC2 Group C Great looking car...some race history. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Lancia-Ferrari-Martini-LC-2-Group-C-works-LeMans-car_W0QQitemZ170435714019QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS_Cars_Trucks?hash=item27aec29be3
That thing was fast in Group C iirc. I suppose Lancia were on a budget at the time, I don't remember ever hearing of a second team car, I believe it was always a lone entry. I remember my father taking us to see the only WSC race held in Montreal. Seats were plentiful at CGV and the cars were spectacular (don't think this Lancia was entered). Damn sewer cover welds were too weak and the race ended early, fortunately without a fatality (although it was close).
Actually, a good batch of those LC2s were made by Lancia; 9 in total (http://wsrp.ic.cz/chassis/chassis_lancia.html). Cheers, Gabriel
A double-boosted 308 motor putting out 850 bhp? 246 mph? Damn. Ok, it says "Purpose-Built Racing Engine." Still - damn.
I think these have been discussed here before, but this is the first time I've seen one for sale: 1950s Ferrari "V12" Bimbo Racer: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1950s-Ferrari-V-12-Bimbo-Racer-Childs-Car-Orig-Owner_W0QQitemZ180483024411QQcmdZViewItemQQptZOther_Vehicles_Everything_Else?hash=item2a05a0661b
