Honda will likely import the CB1100 for 2010.

I used to own one of those. What is the top end on one? Me and a buddy were talking about it the other day and he thought it was lower than me. Back in the day they were the superbike. Those 4 pipes got a lot people to buy.

Bought mine new in 1972 and put 30k before moving on to liter bikes. All in all, service wise, the best bike i ever owned and thats saying something, because i've had 14 road bikes since 1968.It was the first modern 4 cylinder bike that was trouble free except for the first year when they had the ''4'' throttle cables, what a mess trying to keep syncronised.Honda i believe in 1970 came back with the single cable and a linkage attached to the carbs so that when the throttle opened all 4 carb slides opened together.
    Great bikes.

Very cool. I also have a 72 :). Don't mind the ugly incorrect seat. Will be changed very, very soon. This bike just came in and I am in love! :D

You bet! I love these things...
It's the granddaddy of all sport bikes. 1st inline 4. 1st disc brakes

Here's my '69 CB750 K0 Sandcast. It should be in a museum, but I ride it!! It runs like a champ.

Good looking 750. We have a sandcast 750 as well (red)

Also have a non-sandcast 750 (same color as yours). Both are K-0 models. Nice to see the two early 4-cylinder Honda's together and note the differences.

A pair of bookends, so to speak.

Had a CL350 and rode CB500's a lot. Absolutely LOVED 'em. The early 70's CBs are beautiful bikes and can be ridden anywhere despite being 35 years old. Such is Honda reliability!

I'm currently looking around for CB550 SuperSport -- Power isn't huge but the handling was a lot better than the CB750. Old CB's are in my blood now and they make fantastic projects for those of us without tons of time or technical skills. Parts are everywhere and they still command respect and generate lots of enthusiasm. But I know I'm not alone: Prices are starting to get a little silly on these old gems.

    Some awesome bikes!

I have had a couple of CB750's over the years and I would love to get a mid 70's one in excellent condition - what great bikes.

And here is my 1978 SuperSport :)

Just like two other bikes I have, it was hard to find the proper seat but was sooo worth it when I found it! It's like they say, the bars, tank and seat really make the bike. Why do people put such nasty seats on their bikes!?!

This "SS" was a factory "tweaked" out edition. Complete with rear disck, front dual disk/caliper, slimmer gas tank...oh and blacked out motor (stock)! I am sure there are many more options but i'm just learning. ;)

I had 2nd smallest four cylinder CB, a CB400F. Honda made a CB350F that was it's little brother.

It that era the Yamaha RD350 and 400 were better suited for the twisties. Although the torque curves of the Yamaha's were not the easiest to modulate. The CB400F was heavy steering in comparison and its brakes were not up to stuff IMO. But the CB400F was bulletproof in function and tracked sweepers like on rails. I remember cruising all day at 90+ MPH in hot weather and the RD owners said to slow down before their engines seize up.

I dig em too! I was cruising craigslist for one to make into a cafe bike when I found a Suzuki TS 125 for $100 instead. Now I am rebuilding an enduro style bike. When this one is done I will look for another CB.

There is a vintage bike night on the east side of Cleveland on Friday nights that I have been frequenting on my Monster even though it isn't vintage. When the Zook is done I'll ride that. Lots of really nice CBs out there.

Just got this 1-owner 1980 CB750F that was built in the 80's to replicate a factory Honda Superbike. Kaz Yoshima built 900cc enigne kit with a bazillion other mods done in period. The bike had not been touched or ridden since 1990 so it is exactly like it was in the 80's. My mechanic is almost done resurrecting her. Can't wait to ride it.
