We got a set of parts back yesterday from a customer's 360. They are probably the most scratched up and discolored set of parts we've seen. I think you'll probably feel pretty good if you compare these to what's in your car. At least I hope so! Identity of said customer is being with held to protect the guilty!

    Do you refinish the parts?

And I'd give a thumbs up to the owner; drive it, wear it out, refinish it. :)

Having said that, yes, those parts took a beating. I have some nicks on the door panels and a scratch on the center console that I'd like to get fixed.

I'm guessing this car had a more than a few owners and more than its share of drivers.

We do not refinish the pieces in silver. I think there was a thread recently about someone who had his repainted in silver and another who painted theirs in black.

We do refinish them in carbon fiber - hence the CF pieces in the background of a few of the shots.
You can see info on how to update the full interior at once via our interior package: http://www.macarbon.com/store/laminate-interior-package-11.html
Or you can view all of our 360 parts here: http://www.macarbon.com/store/360-interior-and-engine-parts-8/
I figured a few people knew that already!

True that. And the scuffs should just clean off. Looks like they didn't even detail the parts. maybe they figured no big deal as they are going carbon fiber.

Can't powdercoat the door panels. They are too thin and they will warp with the baking heat.

Do what I did and have them painted and clearcoated.

You can always go the CF route as well! :)

What was interesting with these panels was that not only were they scratched and marked up, they had actually turned a bit yellow. So they would have had to been repainted like GCalo recommended. Or they make a good basis for fresh carbon ones.
