Gran Torino

I thought his age was part of what made his character what it was though. I really did think it was a good movie but I'm not as analytical about movies as some. I just like them or don't.

Great movie.

I was really identifying with him til he started doing nice stuff.

 

I liked it. Esp when he groans because he is pissed or mad.

 

...Found it to be racist and crude. Loved every minute.

 

I just got back from it and I loved every minute of it, the good overcomes the bad in so many ways. Yeah, so the acting wasn't the best but I didn't think it really took much away, it wasn't distracting.

 

Saw it yesterday - very good movie. I thought the character development was excellent.

The only thing that struck me is what was said before... his change from grouch to nice guy seemed a bit contrived and quick. When he agreed to go to the party next door, it seemed too sudden... something else needed to happen in between to make it more realistic.

but hey, it's a movie. I was able to suspend disbelief and enjoy it for what it is.

Great and somewhat unexpected ending. Highly recommend it.

I hated million dollar baby... it was a turd. This one is much better.

 

Watchable, the story moved along but, wow, difficult to believe they could make an entire movie and not notice the kid couldn't act. Not in any scene. Made me appreciate the range of Keanu.
