    Ralph,

I've been staring at this photo for about 10 minutes now, and I'm trying to determine where it was taken from. Was this taken from 2150 Mackay?

I used to live there a couple of years ago. Man I miss that building. We used to cause such a ruckus. It got to the point that the management told us they'd give us one month of free rent if we just packed up and left. I wasn't going to argue that. Oh man way too many memories - late night runs to Al Taib, stealing a keg from Reggies and having a kegger in my apartment (true story), knocking out Ricardo (another true story). I could go on for days...

Sadly we didn't get to party as much as we wanted - we were on a tight schedule. I'll be back for SURE and soon! Any notable clubs you might be willing to suggest for my next trip? Anything for a 20s crowd preferably, not looking for anything mature.

For sure, I can recommend and put you on the guestlist for any club u want in montreal. Whenever u come back just msg me and ill set u up ;) off the top of my head, theres LaMouche, Tride, Opera, Newtown (owned by Jacques Villeneuve)... young croud and good music. Theres also tons of clubs on St Laurent street such as Rouge, Buonanotte.. also very good music and young croud.

Went for a walk last week. Actually I had to pick up a few parts for the red car.

Huh?!! What?!! FMoQ is now selling parts to us mere mortals? Indeed they are. Indeed they are. :D

Perhaps in the past they had their reasons for being selective with who their parts department dealt with. (shrugs shoulders) However, having a good rapport with these folks is key. And in the end, buying from them is not a right. It's a choice and a priviledge.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all my QC peeps!

    My favorites...

Buona Notte - only because I knew the doorman and got treated very well
GoGo's - awesome place to pick up older women
Tokyo - great place to pick up freshman girls, nice terrace in the summer
    B-Side - fun atmosphere
Coda - good shows, cool crowd
    Blizzarts - coke sluts
Cherry - cool, lesser known spot in the old port. atmosphere is unparalleled (people bring their own instruments - saxaphones, guitars, anything - and rock out). wednesday nights are awesome there

Man, I miss Montreal. I spent the best years of my life there, and I'm only 23! No other city compares to the Montreal's nightlife (in North America at least). So easy to just wander the streets and have a good time. Everyone just wants to have a good time; I wish I could say the same about Vancouver. When they shut down St Laurent in the summer, forget about it.. so much fun. I'm choked that the F1 won't be happening this year, but I'll probably find an excuse to visit for the jazz festival or something like that. Still have a lot of friends there and miss them dearly. Viva Montreal.. greatest city in the world!

(I'm proudly sporting my Habs hat...)

let me update this a bit lol

Buona Notte - young crowd, lots of teeny boppers, the occasional hockey player
GoGos - laid back, way too small, good 25-30yr old crowd
Tokyo - rap hip hop club
BSide - laid back fun music girls soso good for birthdays
La Mouche - the new in spot, huge supper club
Opera - another huge in club, was better last yr

Mtl is definately the best party city in Canada, and the women are smoking!........Vancouver has nice women but the party life is blah!!
