Can anyone give me any feed back on bell exhaust's to fit on a boxer ?
You can hear mine be doing a search here for 512BBI with Bell exhaust sound clips. Mine fit well, with only a little rub on one side of the rear valance panel. Moved the outlets over a bit and all was well.
Good day Nick, Overall the fitment was not too bad. I have an issue similar to Bill where two outlets were touching the rear bumper/exhaust apron. Connections to the headers were somewhat tight, but workable. The Bell fitment was much easier than the QuickSilver (QS)... The QS was a bit of a nightmare, as some of the angles where off alot. I had to to cut some muffler inlets and "sleeve" a section of pipe in order to get them to fit (not pretty, but allowed me to try them and was good enough to pass governmental inspection). If I was going to keep the QS on the car, I would have just had some stainless mandrel bent and then replaced the cranky inlets. Cheers, Sam
