90,000? 5AT 290hp 3.3 v6.... for 90k? and deep sea fish looks... That could be the biggest rip off of the year.
It does look rather like a aero 8, i dont think it is a kit car though, probably a one off coachbuilt model??
Hi Steve: Looks like an A6GCS replica/remembrance by Luigi Colani. I didn't find anything, but those fenders look like his phallic designs. I'll look some more. L
2005 Monza Spyder Concept by Milt Brown (of Intermeccanica Apollo fame). Engine and trans are BMW 325i. Made the rounds (San Fran Rod & Custom, Concorso Italiano, etc.) in 2005 and then sold for $126,500 including commission by Russo & Steele in Scottsdale, AZ in January, 2006 (s/n given as 2001204B).
Everything is great except those wheels. It's like a really nice suit and then wearing tennis shoes. WTF?
Sorta looks like a k2 Allard but not quite right. http://images.google.com/images?um=1&hl=en&q=allard+k2
I can pretty much recognize any car on the roads just by glancing at them in my rear view mirror, but today I saw something that completely stumped me. I was driving down the Embarcadero in San Francisco and saw this dark blue coupe behind me, and I thought it was a Hyundai Tiburon, but the lights were funny. The car passed me in traffic, I tried to see the make and model, but only saw part of the model badge onthe right hand side and it looked like M_______. The only thing that really stood out about the car was that it had huge air vents behind the front wheels. The lights looked like a Seat car, but I am not seeing anything that resembles what I saw. Anyone have any ideas?
I'm gonna take a wild guess. Because you were in SF, I'm going with a Qvale Mangusta, they did make them in Santorini Blue. What do I win ?
WINNAR. Gold star for you. Thanks for answering, it was bugging me all afternoon today. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Unlike the fun and games "Guess The Car" threads, this one's for cars that we actually need help identifying. Post as many pics and info as you have available. To start us off, this photo was found on the Web and was probably taken at Mugello in 2005 (according to the file name, anyway). Wheels appear to be 1960s Alfa. Insignia is some sort of winged horse, winged serpent or dragon but not familiar to me. Can anyone identify this? Image Unavailable, Please Login
I saw this mystery car on another board a few years ago. It wasn't solved there. The picture is a clearer version of what I saw before. Your mention of the winged creature emblem makes me think of this http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showpost.php?p=135378835&postcount=4 Some SSS cars had that little notched nose and from my shallow understanding of that team's history, a rebodied Alfa TZ seems be plausible.
