DFW Ferrari and Exotic Spotters

Nice change here. In front of WFAA in Victory Park yesterday around 4:00 in the afternoon, a blue Noble M12-GTO3R. Haven't seen one before, and was surprised by it. Not bad for a "kit"...

 

Did it have a spoiler on it? I saw one that didn't have a spoiler on it years back. Looked like the front left side was unpainted as if it were hit there.

 

No spoiler, which makes me question the 3r part, and no unpainted area. A few years is plenty of time for a repaint though...

 

Rossa 360 Spider at Aldo's in Rowlett ( not the best of his fleet of F-cars, but nice ), and a champagne GTC at NW HWY and 75 going westbound around 4:00

 

Gray Audi R8 parked at the Gym today off the Tollway interesting car its the first time I have had a chance to look one over.

Not quite exotic, right now new, and for a short while rare.

White new GT-R turning north onto Jupiter from Beltline around 10:00PM.

 

Rare, in its own odd way: Bentley GTC, anthracite, black top...........on its skinny space-saver spare at RF corner.

Nissan GTR ( I guess that is what it is called). Red Black southbound on 26 in Colleyville this morning. Caught my eye, neat looking but for $80k a 355 would have been a nice choice ( but probably not as fast).

 

THAT'S WHY YOU BUY THE 355!!!!

N-ring times be damned, the 355 is the best sounding, looking, feeling car in the entire world!!! (for <$80k)

 

DB9 on Preston, also an XLR and a G class Merc wagon, but those don't match what else I saw...

Just pulled into Great China (Frankfurt and Preston), and I hear a high pitched growl. Turn around and don't see anything. Then I guess the light turns green and a Murcielago shoots off down Frankfurt. It was black and I believe an LP640. Sounded kind of like aftermarket exhaust, but still a Lambo. It had its wings up too! Couldn't get a pic

Yesterday, some sort of Aston convertible cruising Southlake town center. Don't know which one, they all look the same to me in that dark grey.

More interestingly, I saw a red 55-57 Tbird southbound on I35 yesterday through Lewisville, and then today a yellow one northbound on I35 through Lake Dallas. Odd to see 2 of those in the same week -- 3 if you count Jano's on Saturday.

 

Yesterday saw a grey 430 on Preston near Belt Line (about 9:00 am) and a Red 599 parked out front of Club 300 bowling center (around 1pm).

Not bad for a a brief visit at my parents house.

 

You should come out here then. We have a handful of them cruising around Rockwall and Rowlett on the weekends and occasionally on Thursdays for the show on Dalrock.

 

Modest much? Good thing you didn't trailer the F-car there!

 

Pacific and Ackard, 9:30 this morning going into the Thanksgiving Tower garage. All black with chrome wheels R8 with paper plates. Absolutely stunning! followed by a filthy blue Hayundai, er, Maser QP (sorry Rob, had to say it )

 

Followed a Black 430 Scud with Bllack wheels on Preston road at 11.30am this morning had dealer tags on it. If it was the stock exhaust I dont know that I liked it at low revs a little too raspy, not that I would turn it down because of that no sir.

612 Scaglietti, black, Tollway and Legacy. (this car's beauty is so underrated. It IS gorgeous.)

360 Modena, red, Dallas parkway near Willowbend mall.

 

Silver R8 and black Gallardo with spoiler on Henderson. Grigio 599 getting on 75.

Even better... to me at least... is that I saw my first fox... in Highland Park!

 

On Saturday a dark charcoal ( Grigio?), 430 spider turned in behind me on Walnut Hill Lane east of Hillcrest. He came around me, turning on to Central Expressway with a nice downshift blip, and I saw it was Lad. Top down and revs up, as it should be.

 

Silver Maser Gran Sport Spyder at Aldo's today in Rowlett.

 

On the commute to work this morning, saw a red F430 coupe in the left turn lane of Forest Ln. at the intersection of Preston Rd. It went to La Madeleine restaurant in the Preston Forest shopping center there. Too bad it was still dark out.

 

Yellow 360 coupe southbound on I35e through Lewisville about 9 AM

 

White GT-R with paper plates tonight around 11:15 getting onto 75 northbound off of Knox/Henderson. Love those taillights...
