Good day Kurt, Paul is correct on this one. However, don't be scared to do it. I often see posts about this issue and cannot understand the fear to get it done. It is quite straight forward to remove the dash so that you can get to the front panel. It took me 2 hours to remove (this was my first time... a dash virgin as it where ) and cost me $300 to have the leather replaced (the leather match was perfect) at my local upholstery shop. Cheers, Sam

WOW thanks! The car looks fantastic. Now I just need you to let me drive it, lol. Can you post a pic or 2 of the engine please? Any shots of the headers off the car? Im curious to see the pipe layout around the axles as well as diameter. Thanks again. P.
Wow! Beautiful car! Thanks for posting the pictures, Jim I like to think my car has some degree of race heritage, but about the only similarities between your car and mine are the tail lights and the BB512 badge! And yeah, ditto Newman, a pic of the engine would be great! John
Newman, these are the only pictures I currently have of the engine area of the BBLM. I am planning on having it at Mt. Tremblant July 18 - 20, 2008 for the Shell Ferrari Historic Challenge. thought I would bring this thread up to see if we have any more new boxer owners that are not on the list!
i spoke w/ an owner last week. he was driving a silver/black boxer trim car that was gorgeous!!! i ran into him in point loma in san diegod. he owned a 49xxx s/n car. i did not get his name but the car made me realize that silver may be the best boxer color. seeing a boxer in the wild...that was not mine...really made my day. the cars really take my breath away. pcb
i think it may be jay glaser...if he is the guy, it is listed. whats's funny is that i pulled up to him at an intersection and i said..." have a boxer too..." lol, he probably figured ...sure you do! therefore i blurted out my serial number and then he smiled and recited his as well...the boxer fraternity lives!! kinda like a secret hand shake.
Hey guys would you please add me to the list too.... #52039 Have owned the car since the early nineties All white 14k ivory red leather and red carpets with factory build sheets All original never restored looking like new. How many are there now registered here and who is the newer and oldest? Cheers! Mario Image Unavailable, Please Login
fantastic in all white! the gotti / pls wheels are killer. i think based on my seeing the silver bbi last week and now seeing this car in white...boxers are best in lighter colors!!! lovely car mario and great ownership history. pcb
AJ Foyt's was silver/Boxer trim, it went to the West Coast last I have heard...... I'm NEVER going to get a Boxer! My bank will only go $25K into the deal! WTF?? ID Theft still on my account, it seems.... Anyone want to park it, until my Child Support drops off in two years????? So close..........and yet so far....
I think I'd be the oldest BB512, if I could just flange the deal up........ There's a lot of discussion of exactly WHAT I am looking at here......sorry no pics yet....DEFINATELY an early 512 engine block though......REAL early.......
