One of the mechanics from Ferrari of Seattle works at Park Place in Bellevue. I spoke with him.

One advantage is that he handles painting and other services that aren't covered at the Seattle Dealership. From my short chat with the mechanic (can't recall his name) it appears that the hourly rate is about the same.

That would have to be a "former" technician from Ferrari of Seattle...

Not Seattle, rather one of the best guys around would be Carlo of Alfa Romeo of Tacoma. 253 572-2532. Ask anyone, great reputation. All of my F cars have been serviced by him.

Huge second on Carlo. I had a very bad experience at Park Place, but it was some 6 years ago....

Seattleguy isn't going to go anywhere near Park Place. I remember he once tried to sell his Porsche 928 there and had a horrible experience!!! (And if I recall correctly, when he went to go pick up his car, there was a guy using magic marker to "detail" the black bumpers of a Ferrari.)

Ha That is so funny you remember that. I took the car into Specialty Cars in Bellevue and so far I am really impressed. They seem to know their stuff!

Sounds like there is something I don't know about Park Place. Do they have a poor reputation around here?

Rather than rehash it, might be best to use the search function in the upper left corner of the page... :(

    Hmmm..

I don't immediately see anything under 'park place' or 'park place motors'.

I eneded up taking my car to Specialty Cars Auto Service and am VERY happy with them. The manager posts here as MondialTCab. Not only are they cost effective but they document (pictures and video) all of their work. They are also great with workarounds to fix problems cost effectively and correctly. Highly recomended!

Well, at the end of the day, mostly everyone here hates Park Place because of service, both mechanical and personal. To the point where I won't even go near the place, cause I sure won't deal with that. You can find stuff by searching.

+1. I've had too many bad experiences personally with them - hot glue trim repairs, peeling touch up paint, wrong tire size installed, knock off wheels, wrong motor/transmission oil etc. Each time they were very comfortable at insulting and abusing me when I questioned or seeked remedy. Needless to say I've never gone back to them for anything since. Their only bright spot is "Jag John" but very specifically for Jaguars only.

In my experience, FoS still the best option for Ferrari in Seattle.

I am the newly created unhappy customer of Park Place.

    They are a detail shop.

My car went in with one problem and came out with two. Went back again and came out with three problems. That's it. No more.
