i've got a couple of friends with them. they love them, but my main thing is the phone is huge! it'd be sticking halfway out of my pocket.

    my dash crashed...2nd time

Screen just goes black, and stays like that. Tmobile says its a known problem, and replaced phone at no charge (I paid the 15 bucks for the express shipping). And they gladly gave me a pearl as a loaner for the day or two I was with out the dash. Great company

Ive had many phones in the last 6 years, usally switch 3 times a year, but have had dash now for a year.

I know there is a Blackberry 9000 coming out, that should be like the i-phone, might pick that up

Yeah, something is wrong with my WM6 Dash too...had a WM5 Dash for 10 months, and it worked extremely well till my friend dropped it.

After going on Wifi on the WM6 Dash, it just likes to just shut off randomly. I think it has something to do with the battery, I'm going to multimeter it to see for sure. Battery is probably nearing the end of it's life.

Was a great phone till recently. Will get an iPhone this summer.

    It's a great phone when it doesn't...

    Crash.
    Break.
    Turns off randomly.
Changes volume because the volume strip is the silliest design I've seen.

Other than that, it's a thin piece of tech. I like QWERTYs, and will have to adapt to the iPhone when I get it.

no, in concept it may be similar, but the differences will start to be evident in June. They are opening the phone up to developers, and everyone will be able to download different applications which will range from games to sales software. There is a 100Million fund for start up iPhone developers. I cannot wait to see what happens in the next generation of iphones and with the next generation of developments. It really will do it all. Pretty neat stuff.

    Hey guys,

I dont post here alot but I actually just started working at t-mobile a few months ago. I think the sidekick and the dash are both great phones but the dash has a leg up on the sidekick III for sure.

Althought I would much prefer a bb pearl, curve or 8820 to the sidekick.

Phone problems happen from time to time and they are always hard to deal with. I have had to deal with it for the customer end and the customer service end. Either way IT SUCKS!

the main problem i have with the sidekick, as well as i had with the mda, is the fact that they're way too big. i don't use phone holders that go on your belt, and i'm so used to throwing my phone in my pocket, but the mda was huge and dug into me everytime i sat down. my friend had a sidekick for a while, that thing was even bigger! that's my main problem against the 2.
