So we only know the serial number to one Sessanta...?
No Carbon, I have more s/ns of these. But I don´t think I should publish VINs here on the internet without the owner´s permission. The white Fux-Sessanta was on display at the Cavallino classic for everybody to see and very probably the s/n will appear in Cavallino magazine. So, I could make an exception for that one Ciao, Lars T.
Only 8 yet, unfortunately. But then of course, this car has only just arrived on the market. With time, more s/ns and info will certainly come up. Ciao, Lars T.
This one was spotted in Belgium http://spots.autogespot.com/viewimages.php?id=c214748364818022008193636
WOW...what a small world!!! I saw that exact same car (I remember the number plate) in Monte Carlo 2/3 weeks ago. It was parked in front of a restaurant and as I was walking towards it, the owner got in (he was fairly young and he was accompanied by his wife or gf), started it up...and off he went (that thing roars with the sports exhaust). It was dark though and I didn't notice the two-tone livery so I didn't realise it was a Sessanta. A truly magnificent car (even though I'm not a big fan of the two-tone livery). Carlo
Well spotted, thank you for mentioning this car here!!! I will update the register this weekend, also with another new Sessanta which has been spotted in the USA. Ciao, Lars T.
Hi Carlo, As far as I can see on the pics, this car is painted all-black, not two-tone. Looks like several Sessanta-clients didn't like the two-tone either... Anyway, do you remember on which exact date you saw this car in Monte Carlo? (or, if not, if it was in January or February?) Ciao, Lars T.
If you look closely at the bonnet and the window pillars they seem to be painted in a very dark non-metallic gray...or is it just me? Hmm...sorry, I don't remember the exact date, my best guess would be somewhere in late January. I also saw a bianco avus/red interior 612 (one-tone livery) with the the HGTC pack and the challenge style rims driving in Monaco a few days ago (Italian number plate if I recall correctly), so it could have been one of those one-tone Sessantas you were referring to. In any case, the challenge-style rims are also available for the 'standard' 612 now, so it's hard to say (but if I recall correctly the wheel caps were polished like on the Sessantas, does that mean anything?). Carlo
Lars, owe it to early morning and try again later on, Carlo is right, very clearly Black & dark Grey/Rosso. Do we know the spotter from www.autogespot.com? With that amount of detailed pictures, he might have taken the VIN as well...
Ooooooooooooooooooops! Very true indeed, maybe I should change my priorities and start the morning with a strong cup of coffee instead of looking at Ferrari pics first. So, dark grey over black it is. At least I didn't disagree on the rosso interior I don't know the spotter btw, but since this is a Belgian car, our local Telaio-department might encounter it one day! Ciao, Lars T.
Hm, indeed hard to say. I could imagine polished wheel caps might be ordered through the Scaglietti programme for any 612? Some 612 Sessantas look (too) much like ordinary 612s, while oridinary 612s may also be ordered in a two-tone livery, looking like a Sessanta. Looks like Sessanta-spotting is quite tricky... I for now will concentrate on keeping all-black and dark grey over black apart! Ciao, Lars T.
I just had an enlightenment... If it was a Sessanta I would have certainly noticed the monochromatic roof (especially since it was a white car), so it wasn't a Sessanta Sorry for all the confusion. Carlo
No problemo, at least you had the very nice experience of spotting a great white/red 612! I wish I would have seen that car too Ciao, Lars T.
Hi Derek, Thank you for this very nice pic! Maybe you know the answer to one or more of these questions: 1) Which badge this car has in the interior? 2) The VIN? 3) If this car will stay in Canada? 4) The owner? Thanks and ciao, Lars T.
