Just put mine up for sale on fads. Second owner 1985 Euro 308 GTSi Red/Cream, 66,965km, ZFFLA13B000057987, $35K
I also have a Euro 308 GTS QV '83. I feel that the euro has so many nicer qualities than the US model, that it wouldn't ever be a question for me if I were choosing between the two. PLUS, the sound is totally AWESOME!!!! It is one reason I bought the car.
Interesting...my euro-spec is also German: ZFFLA13B000048345. From what I understand, your German-spec 308s should have the wire mesh in front of the air and oil cooler intakes.
1985 Euro 308GTS for sale... All service records dating back to 1987. This car is far above what those 35k+ stock 308s can do, plus the car is ready for the Supercharger system i'll lower it to $32k for Fchatters. http://www.enjoythetrack.com/ferrari/ VIN: ZFFLA13B000058939 Build Date: June 1985 Miles: 72,223 Condition: Very good to excellent Have service/parts receipts dating back to 1987 that reach a staggering amount of money. Have books, tools, and well over 60k into her. Reason For Sale: Continue my open wheel Formula Continental development You will not find a better performance (non-SC'ed) and perhaps more reliable and less expensive to maintain 308 out there imho. If the car is not out of my driveway in the next few weeks i may send it to a friend who will start parting her out, then there will be one less 308 in the world
I am obviously biased, but I just got back from a car show in Richmond, Va (check out the link in the Mid-Atlantic section- crazy amount of great cars). Seeing my Euro next to the US cars made me sooo happy I went for it, even if it didn't have the performance edge! Of course, the silver 308 I was parked next to had one sweet after market exhaust. Just my completely biased opinion.
