I would like to know who you guys think is the best shop in the Toronto area for excellent quality paint work. The shop needs to have a reputation in handling exotic cars, experienced with wet sanding, and multiple coat applications for a very durable and deep shine. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I just have some stone chips on my hood and side panels of the Ford GT. I am anal about my cars, so I am going to have those parts repainted and then I need a good quality paint protection film.

Thanks for the referral, much appreciated.

I also know the owner of 427. I had some work done through them and I was happy with the results, but I don't know if they're the best in town.

Joe: I don't know if you remember the guide who was giving us the tour at Legendary for last years Spring Fling. She mentioned that some of the paint jobs alone cost $50k!

Arshad:..yeah I remember....they did great work...that's why I said "if money is no object". ..

You know.....in most cities...if someone asked the same question that Clax has about the best place for a paint job....it would be most likely that one name would stand out. I really don't think we have that "Stand Out" type painting/bodyshop around the GTA. Perhaps...something to look into for someone trying to start a new business....that has that kind of talent.

Joe, I know what you mean. I would imagine 427 being close to that though. I mean those guys have gone from a small shop 30 years ago to almost a full city block! The place is massive and for a reason.

And for the record I have no affiliation whatsoever, but I work close to people who do use them often. Their customer appreciation is unreal and this is what I see.

Either way, it's best to see for yourself Clax. If you are ever in the area Clax come sy hi. I am around the corner from them.

I had my 308 painted by Mascotek Carstar in Barrie, yeah yeah sounds like macco or some low life operation, the reason being they were praised highly and once meeting with the owner (Frank ) and hearing how he worked at FOO and after leaving did many a ferrari for the dealer prior to moving north I was convinced. He did an amazing job, people that see my 308 in person want to know who painted it and cant get over the shine/wetness of the finish. Ill trust my boxer to them without hesitation. Best of all he's a ferrari nut but not in toronto, close enough though for a fantastic paint job.

Centre Hill AutoBody in Richmondhill. Frank is an old style "panel beater" and he used to do most of FOO work before they opened their own shop. He's honest and the best. 909-737-1449

I agree with Mike here. From first hand experience, the guys at Mr. John's do a FANTASTIC job. They are very professional, have a first class facility, and deliver the goods. I am crazy picky about paint and they can paint as well as anyone.
