Does anyone plan on going to this event @ LFSC on Saturday nite April 14th?
Me too! But I did get the invitation for an exclusive test drive of the Maserati Quattroporte Range at Continental.
I didn't take that shot, but thought it was a good answer to the thread's question. Admiral's hat and clown shoes... Image Unavailable, Please Login
He's probably wearing a Ferrari G-string! To answer the "what to wear to a GP race?" It is seriously quite a sight....It is like joining a gay pride parade in WrigleyVille! Colorful Flags, colorful clothes, and some people wearing spandex for no good reason. Don't let that put you off...Just wear the exact same shirt or hat etc. that 90,000 others will be wearing. Or get a Scott Speed hat and jump off the nearest camera tower...You will become much more famous then he ever will be! Now don't flame me, I've gone to many GP's and loved every minute of them(course I did go when qualifying was more exciting then racing). Its just funny to take a step back and look at how ridiculous the whole thing is. Its like Halloween, if only Ferrari made costumes.
LOL I remember attending the Monza GP when the championship battle was between Mika and Michael. I was dressed rather neutral in black jeans and black T-Shirt. To my left there were about a dozen folks in red and to my right a dozen guys in silver. It was hilarious. But I had the most fun at the Canadian GP in 05 wearing an Alonso shirt and hat while being surrounded by people in red.
Bring your flag, and a good hat. [USGP 2006] Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
A great and fun event. Lots of interesting people attending, couple Enzos at the entrance, a lone Veyron and tons of models doing runway to a funky music. Fun event for wifes especially...
Really, really nice. I wonder who lent them the Enzos and whether they were in attendance. I was watching nervously as more than a few of the ladies used the Enzos to lean one. With their mighty rock-clad rings on their fingers. Looked scary easy to result in a scratch. Anyway, great event.
Here another answer to the thread's question: This picture was actually taken today at the Bahrain GP track (the blonde is Cora Schumacher): Image Unavailable, Please Login
A nice fun event but the highlight was seeing the two Enzo's. Hard to believe that the women were leaning on and placing their hands all over them during the fashion show. The red Enzo looked better although it looked like the black one had an aftermaket exhaust. I was hoping to hear them start the black one up after they rolled it out - but they just kept pushing it into the service area.
Andreas, Some pics like these would have been better than that dinky thing you posted! http://www.picsearch.com/cora-schumacher.html&cols=5&thumbs=20
Forget about her--where can I get one of those sweet yellow robot suits?! There's the answer to the question: "What does one wear...?"
The yellow suits are crash test dummies. Kinda funny in the context of F1 where crash tests are done without dummies.
call me die hard fan but I cant help it...race day, even at home it gets this serious... Red hair and battle camo were only for the suzuka event that ended up in tears... at 29 many things can be done without remorse...I guess Image Unavailable, Please Login
