    Steve -

The reference to "02132" doesn't mean that the book itself is FROM 02132, but rather that it covers cars from 02132 on......

For example, my 246GTS has the same book....

thanks for clarification!! it only would be neat to have the exact 246gt chassis number that was printed in the book. seems like owners of these ferrari's like to have all the stuff that goes along with their cars. like original key fob's etc... there are guys in the business that make a good living at providing all the additional goodies to these vintage ferrari's. i have seen some pretty spectacular prices on tool rolls, jack assemblies etc......

The knuckleheads were at my shop earlier that day, asking questions about pouches and not disclosing they were about to list the item.

    How to make friends!

It looks so shiny and tight, mine is a bit more weathered and looks more dark tan than orange, but that's the photo, probably. Would you consider it devalued if it was spruced up to look new? Also for reference only, I have the original handbook with dog eared oil stained grease fingerprinted pages and a new one bought from the dealer in 78, which is more which is less in your view?

You won it for $4550 and it has 5 of the books inside it - Looks like a heck of a bargain. If prices are dropping in the oil sector, they should view the Dino owner's Pouch area, this 25% retreat of prices is a fantastic thing for real owners.
Unless you think the market is seasonal...

    Let's boycott this next auction!

I think that may be a dig at speculators in the market who have a dozen or more sets of books, and no cars to go with them.

It's possible, under Synchro's scenario, that everyday guys who own the cars, but don't have the all the books, or a pouch, may have a chance to buy them without having to sell their car to do so. :D

Two recently sold North of $6k, this one sold for $4.5k

    I calculate that as 25%

...or perhaps prices are seasonal with Spring and Summer being the high months

a pouch is worth around $3500 and a manual is worth around $250. based on this, it is pushing the market, unlike the pouch referenced earlier that I had bought.

But you sure are ASS DEEP in it!!

Geez, what are you up to now, 50 or 60 complete sets of books and tools? :)

Have you captured the entire print run of 1st year 206 documents yet?

And Shawn, I admire your persistance, but no, I WON'T SELL YOU MY STUFF. :D
