Hey All, I just saw this on ebay and since I don't have a tool kit, I don't know if this is "original". Is it? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Original-Ferrari-Dino-246-GT-GTS-Tookit_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6763QQhashZitem140041356960QQihZ004QQitemZ140041356960QQrdZ1 Seems to be very reasonably priced if it's "original".
Nope, not even close. Tom S is putting together really nice repro kits, should have them soon, and of course you can get a repro kit from Tom's close personal friend La Scuderia Rossa on ebay. (Personally, I'd wait for Tom to have his.) Superformance has a the same set of tools available as on ebay, here... http://www.superformance.co.uk/206246.htm top of the page in the middle. DM
I believe this is the toolkit you get if you buy a Pontiac Fiero Dino conversion kit. The words rare and original have lost all meaning since eBay came into existence. Even Pamela Anderson is honest enough to claim that what she's selling isn't OEM. Sad but true. Cheers...Keith
ok how about this one.It looks a bit more original only that I havent seen those type of multigrip pliers before.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FERRARI-TOOL-KIT_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6755QQihZ003QQitemZ130038204074QQrdZ1
It's not for a 206/246 Dino or a Daytona or Boxer for that matter. I can't speak for the other models.
The carb key and the window winder are the only correct items, worth about $150-$200 for those two alone. The screwdrivers and pliers are not correct, even for the 308 series.
