Hmm I dont know what goes as a GOOD car so I will just say my car history so far..its short at age 20.

First Car 1997 Explorer XLT 4.0 SOHC 4X4 White on Grey put 190,000 miles, Main high school communter. Never broke down once.

Next car 2000 F-250 Super Duty Extended cab, long bed 7.3L Turbo Diesel Harvest Gold on Tan. Just went over 70,000, Consistant problems with Crank positioning sensor. Gone out three times, and left me stranded. Also hubs dont work to engaged 4x4.

Newest Addition 2001 Audi TT Coupe Quattro Silver on Black 48,000 miles. No problems yet, Figures crossed!

I went back and forth...Started with a 1968 International travelall....bought a huyndai thinking it was new and better....wrong! Went through a bunch of Dodge Stratus' (great car, still have one with close to 200k on it and no service issues at all), before settling on my current M5, which I fully intend to keep forever.

My first good car is also my first car.... brand new 1992 Nissan Sentra SE-R. It was reliable, fun to drive, had enough room for 5 and a big trunk, and it's red. It was the most trouble-free car I had have.

I went from an '88 celica with 250,000 miles to a '03 350z touring. I still hold a place in my heart for that old celica, but really just no comparison.

1983 Nissan Sentra 2-door 2+2 with a DIESEL engine. Completely base car, vinyl interior, no stereo, and no A/C. It was the first car I purchased new at around age 16 (after I sold the '72 MGB) and only paid $5,000 for it off the dealer lot! That car seemed like it went forever on a single tank of gas. Never, ever had any problems whatsoever with the car in the three years I owned it (traded for an '86 Sentra w/ gas engine). The only downside was that the diesel motor rattled your teeth and mirrors at a stoplight. :D

I went from a '91 Acura Legend with no a/c and various other problems that were too expensive to fix since it was an "Acura" and into a '00 Civic Si that I've had for a little more than a year now with no troubles whatsoever (knock on particleboard). :D
