I’ve increased my collection to include all 3 colors from the 1969 Honda Z50. They are completely restored down to the original nuts and bolts. I ride them around my cul-du-sac every so often. Really brings back the childhood memories with the smell and sound of these bikes.

Love those old z50s! I think the best motorized vehicle for kids is anything 2 wheels for the greater physical aspect of it. Most kids these days could probably use an extra workout of some sort.

Mini bike with a Briggs & Straton, the metal plate against the tire brake system.

When I was 15 1/2 I bought a Honda SL100, I put 35,000 miles on it in 2/5 years. Rebuilt it 3 times, it was something like $15 for a ring and gasket kit, used the "drill" tool to hone out the cylinder, and used screwdrivers to change the tires. Simple days.
