It's too long to watch now. So is this legal then? It looks professional, like it's for a TV show or somethng.

    That was off the hook!

When the M3 started to get sideways I though he was gonna loose it, but he drifted it prefectly throught turn. Man that guy could drive. No doubt he was a profetional. Looked like maybe a rally car driver. Then the way the bike caught up after he had to stop for the green truck. That video was plain nuts.

That was ridiculous. That is a lot of concentration on a public road like that

It's an M car. In the later years, the Z3 had the same exact motor as the M3 but weighed a lot less. Wicked cars. If my 540 wasn't such an awesome deal, I might trade it in for one. I drove a customer's car for about 90 minutes on the highway and even doing the speed limit, it's a very fun and exciting car.

^^^ CORRECT. We got the 240hp model, then the last model year the 314hp model. Europe always had the full 314hp model.

yea, ghostrider + gixxer1k and it will take more than good driving and a mildly fast car to lose him

edit// if you want more videos, just look around for more ghostrider stuff. this is just a snippet from his larger "Ghost Rider IV: Goes Undercover 2005" where he rides around on a fully carbon fiber turbo Gixxer1000k5 in some european country. he does some pretty crazy stuff and is an amazing rider

Very nice, great scenery and crazy driving BUT the sound track doesn't match the speed. The car was not going the speed the gear changes and rpm's would indicate. But great roads, esp. the one leading to the Arc and i thought i saw a white cuda like car parked on the side of the road after the driver had to slow for the garbage truck. I have walked most of those streets and enjoyed seeing them.

I'm not sure what a "literbike" is, but the police here in Austin do have BMW sport bikes with sirens.

liter bike entails the size of its engine. so something like a GSXR1000, ZX10r, R1, or CBR1000RR. they all have ~1000 cc engines in them. that means they are pretty well faster than anything with 4 wheels including most supercars. i hear rumors every now and then that police use sportbikes to chase sportbikes that try to run, but i've never seen any proof of it. i think i saw a picture or two of a police R6, but it was just for show, like those DARE vehicles.

is it just me or did this guy get onto the freeway using a freeway offramp? this is definetly a cool video. anyone have a downloadable version anywhere?

is there a reason you can get away with this in Europe and not the US? i can't imagine any city in the US where you could drive this way with a fake cop riding a GXXR behind you. it could look legit for a little bit, but there would have to be other cops on the road that would think something is up.

btw, in MD before i left, i heard the MD State Troopers were getting sport bikes to deal with the increase in sportbike riders running from the police. i think i saw one but i didn't get a very good look at it so i couldn't tell what it was. but aren't all police bikes 1000cc+, like the BMW and HD?

i'm from northern virginia, and i haven't heard any of my MD biker friends mention seeing police sportbikes out, and unfortunitly, they do tend to run alot.

and the police harleys and bmws may be 1000cc+, but theres a big difference between those and 1000cc sportbikes

Once or twice if you watch carefully you can see the digital speedo on the bike. Did anybody out there catch a number? I thought I saw 154. I guess Ks.

well i know the difference between a sport bike and a cruiser ;) i only brought it up because the BMW is about 1300cc and the HD is about the same but it's not nearly the same as a 1000cc Honda, Suzuki, or Yamaha. It would be interesting to see a cop on a sportbike, but I don't know if all that extra training and speed would make a difference because you will still have trouble pulling the guy over. It'd be easier and safer to chase him in a helo, and at one point MD had the largest helo fleet in the country. Besides, try outrunning a Dauphin.
