Brilliant idea. We may have destoyed the ozone layer on Sunday, but our recycling initiatives will no doubt appease any future protestors!!!

The only reason he got the Poseur of the Year Award was because he was the only person who turned up in a Ferrari with a Ferrari cap.

Lucky for him, GrahamS never showed up. Does he ever take that Ferrari cap off????

    :D :D :D :D

There will also be a new award at the next poseur run in 2006.

The "Hazy Award" for the most miles travelled to pose. (Hazy, you've got the 2005 award, which we'll give you next year).

We're also considering the "Lost Northerner in London Award" and the "Who can get the most free drinks in one day award".............Hazy is sure to win these ones as well.

    :D :D

If I'd have know there was a prize for that I'd have got my recently purchased Ferrari cap out of the car and onto my head to match my Ferrari T-shirt! It was too hot to wear my matching jacket ;) .

Andy was in front of us in the 360CS and took a chunk out of his side skirt....really felt for him. The car park was ******* tight, I've just had all my wheels refurbed so I was extra cautious!

Yes, but at a price. There was some grinding just before the bend. Luckily it seems to have been somewhere underneath the car so only a vital part, not cosmetic as I feared.

Officially there were 29 cars booked in for the run, plus 1 additional Ferrari that was at the start point but did not join the run.

There were also a couple of Ferrari's that joined in during the run.

Probably around 45 to 50 people who took part including passengers. A lot more than any of us expected.

If I've missed out anyone who came, please let me know.

If it was'nt on the same day as the FOC met and Maranello trip (and if Tommo had got his car :D) we probably would have had about 40 Ferrari's in total.

    NEXT POSEUR RUN: May/June 2006

    Let's go for 50 plus :D

Dem, Sy - what a fantastic day and great thanks to you both for all the effort in arranging it. Everything was fantastic (so much so, I didn't even have such a problem crucifying a side skirt on that car park ramp - it'll fix!) from the meet in the park, to setting off the car alarms near Oxford Street as the vibration of 20 F'cars revving set them off as a tramp conducted, to the awards ceremony and Gibbsa Jnr being awarded biggest posuer - THANKS! Fantastic. From me, Nathalie, Baptiste, Jack and off course, Harry - aka Gibbsa Jnr.

We all cant wait till the next one - hopefully I'll have the paintwork done by then :D

SteveF - you'll be glad to know, I figured out how to use a pc and I learned to type....)

Andy, I was following you down that poxy ramp in the 355, I really felt for you dude, catching your car. Just before going down there did you notice the old fella who nearly pi$$ed himself when you and then me started bouncing the cars off the rev limiters. His face was priceless. :D:D:D

    Gibbsa!

As I said in most of my other replies on this thread, it was our pleasure! Just make sure you guys are back again to defend your titles next year. Tell Gibbsa Jnr, that he's simply looking after my title until next year, when I'll be covered in more Ferrari merchandise and 'blingier' shades.............!!!!

Keep revving that engine mate, and if you see that Frenchman again, let him hear it at a few extra rpm higher!!!!!

Like many priceless faces, yes - fantastic! This and the image of the paparazzi (or what seemed like it) along oxford street will stay with me for a very, very long time - perhaps even until next year, when we do a standing start with 40 FCars, leaving 20 lambo's standing..... :D :D :D :D

I will Dem - although prizing the trophy out of his hands will simply not happen! His grin has been from ear to ear since - one very, very chuffed Fcar fan indeed....Cheers - much!

Oh, and if I revved any harder, the frenchman would have needed to take cover as a couple of pistons came his way - was sooooo good to contribute to his wifes headache and his bleeding ears - miserable wotsit :D ...and to be fair, I dont know about you, but I thought we were the only people in the city that day, so I really don't know what his beef was (pun intended). :D

    Ooooohhhh, I so can't wait till the next one! :D :D :D

Fear not GibbsA Jnr! He's stuck with that cup for the rest of his life!!! With a little more time and planning, we hope that next year's cups won't be left over from a cancelled darts tournament and hurriedly engraved for us!!!!! :D:D:D:D:D (I still can't believe Hayley managed to swing that lot around in 3 days!) Of course, we always have Hazy's kind offer to fall back on, if we're dead keen on recycling!!!! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Sy and I have a few different ideas up our sleeves, so watch this space for 2006.........
