Wow nice pictures Mark I really wish I was brave enough to dive Looks awesome under water. The locals looks like they like you very much
Hi Simon, I have dived with Coral Bay divers before but this time, because we were staying at SB Lodge, we used them. They were good - a slick operation. Great fun
Yeaaah... but i'm affraid of getting my face under water So I guess it will be not so easy Once I got the opportunity to try in a swimmingbath.... but I backed out again And I have no doubt about that it's very beautifull!! I can see that on your pics, and in the TV when they show something from under water.
Here are a very few of the 200 million photos (new camera, got carried away..very!) I took on a recent trip to Marrakech..highly highly recommend the place..culture shock but some wonderful experiences.. I cannot believe the difference you can get in pic quality with an SLR - sooo much more flexible. Definately worth the investment imo.
Hmm I have to sell a lot of drawings, so I can go and buy that cam And you're right... sooo much better !!!
Great Pictures Marc. In december I'm off to Africa for the Banjul Challenge. I can't wait, and your pictures just boost my enthusiasm. Drive through Switzerland France Spain Morocco Mauritania Senegal and finally into the Gambia BTW how is the D50 SLR to use? Is it complicated or can a photographic dunderhead like myself master it?
Sounds like a fab trip - in the F? I am at best a dunderhead and had no major problems..read the manual a couple of times (unusual for me!) and spent some time learning a bit about shutter speeds/apertures/ISO's etc to get the most from it, but am still VERY much an amateur and got some good results with it. The D70S is very similar but more complex for the semi pro, D50 is a good intro to SLR and I think probably a little more forgiving.
@simon, please tell us more about the Banjul Challenge. What kind of rally is it? and which car are you using? Thanks Roel
