HA! i'm willing to bet that's WAY past my "pee my pants" threshhold. i've done 150 in a car. i can't imagine doing even that on a bike. yowza. doody.
Dan, Missed you at superbike school today. Good call on your part, would have been too much too soon. We were haulin' @$$. 1 rider down, not injured, glad it wasn't U. Tomorrow kicks it up a notch. Mike
thank gwad you posted that. Carbon. This is Earth. Remember when you told Fasil(sp) that you just "came" in his seat.....yeah..that's his TVR. Helloooooooooooooooooooo
jon...so true. hot, black and a set of 996cc cans...once you go black...ya never go back!! yellow seems good too...lol.
I'll post pictures of my Duc on Monday. I've finally got the camera and took a few pictures. Dan: Going to miss you at the Hillclimb and Sunday ride. Art
Went out and looked at the bike. Yep, the rear of the seat is higher than stock. I had to fabricate the mount when I put the dual seat on, and I used the same length spacers as the solo seat, probably don't need spacers at all. Easy enough to fix: get shorter screws, and take out the spacers. I'll probably do it later. Art
what hill climb and sunday ride, where at? and for ferraripete, I have the vance and hines carbon fiber cans. my bike is all carbon and black, but any 748, 916, 996, 998 in any color is a piece of art and perfect to ride. do you ride palomar/ my congrats on the new bike by the way. very nice choice.
Dan, get your skills up, then next spring we need to do keith code superbike school. Anybody who can drive a Ferrari 180+ needs to supplement their need for speed with a superbike AND the skills to actually use it. Put 1K - 3K miles on your bike and join me next year for KC. The Reno-Fernley track will have 2.5 miles of fresh new material that will be worthy of your attention. -m Image Unavailable, Please Login
Dan: Had a good ride with Mike and my friend Jay on Sunday. they both know the road pretty well, but I was, for the most part, able to stay with them, they were riding pretty easy. Going to do it again in two weeks. Should be fun. You ought to think about getting more seat time. Art
Dan, here's one of my rides on the KC camera bike. On this run they required 3 & 4th gears only, no brakes. But you can get the idea. Obviously more work needed next year - Mike http://www.bytware.com/g2/ride/keithcode.wmv
Art - i'll try to find some time when I'm back. It's my main objective for november. in the meanwhile, it's all locked up but f has the key. getting it painted blue - i dunno. where are pictures of yours?
